In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to customize the Carousel Widget to match your brand — from layout and spacing to button click actions and more. It’s easy to do and requires no coding.
Feed Selection
If you're on the free plan, you won’t have access to feeds. Your carousel will automatically display all media in your library, so there’s nothing you need to do.
If you're on a paid plan, you can choose a specific feed to display in your carousel. However, feeds won’t appear in the list unless you’ve created them first. If you haven’t set up a feed yet, you’ll need to do that before selecting one.
Feeds let you organize your media into different groups, so you can control what content appears in each widget.
Product
The product selection setting lets you control which media appears in your carousel based on products tagged on your media.
Selecting a product: If you choose a product, the carousel will only display media that has been tagged with that product.
Showing all media: To display all media, remove the product by clicking Remove product in the dropdown.
Dynamic source: This setting is only for product pages. It automatically detects which product page the widget is on and only shows media tagged with that product. If the widget is not on a product page, selecting Dynamic source won’t do anything.
📌 Note: If your widget isn’t appearing, try removing the product filter. If no media has been tagged with the selected product, the carousel won’t display anything. Removing the product filter will allow all media to show.
Buy Button Action
This setting controls what happens when a visitor clicks the Shop now button on your media.
You have two options:
Go to product page: Clicking the Shop now button will take the shopper directly to the product’s page on your site.
Add to cart: This opens a slide-up directly on the media, where shoppers can view more product details, select variants (like size or color), and add the product to their cart — all without leaving the page.
Sort Order
Choose how your media is arranged in the carousel widget. You have three options:
Video Priority: Videos will be shown first in the carousel, followed by images.
Manual: If you're using a custom feed, you can manually arrange the media in any order you like. When you choose “Manual” here, the widget will follow the custom order you set when creating your feed.
ℹ️ This only works if you’ve selected a feed. If you haven’t, manual sort won’t apply.
Mixed: This option randomly mixes all media types (videos and images) and displays them in no specific order.
Slide Size
Choose how big the media cards appear in your carousel. You can pick from three sizes:
Small: Shows more media cards at once in the carousel. Great if you want to display a wide variety of content in a compact space.
Medium: A balanced option. Gives each piece of media more space without taking up too much room on the page.
Large: Makes each media card bigger and more eye-catching. Ideal if you want to highlight fewer pieces of content with more visual impact.
Slide Rounding
Control how rounded the corners of your media cards appear. This helps match the look and feel of your site.
Choose from three options:
None: Sharp corners for a clean, modern look.
Slight: Soft, subtle rounding for a smooth feel that blends in well.
Heavy: More pronounced rounding for a bold, playful look.
Pick the style that fits best with your brand’s design and how other elements appear on your site.
Spacing Above/Below
Set how much space appears above and below the widget (in pixels). Use the slider or type in a number to control the exact spacing and adjust the layout to fit your page design.
Spacing Between Slides
Control the space between each media card in the carousel.
You can choose how tight or spread out the media appears by adjusting this setting. A lower value (like 0px) means the media slides will touch each other, creating a more compact, grid-like look. A higher value will space the cards out more, giving a cleaner, roomier appearance.
Use the slider or enter a pixel value to match the style you're going for.
Video Autoplay
This setting controls whether videos in the carousel play automatically.
When autoplay is turned on, all videos will play on a loop as soon as the widget loads. This creates a more dynamic and eye-catching experience that can help draw in shoppers.
If you prefer a more subtle look, turn autoplay off. Instead of playing automatically, a play icon will appear on the video, signaling to shoppers that it's a video they can watch.

Video Play on Hover
This setting only applies if autoplay is turned off.
When enabled, a loop of the video will begin to play when a shopper hovers over them. This creates a more interactive browsing experience without overwhelming the page with constantly playing videos.
