You can control your location permissions both through the Kinetik Health app and your device settings:
In the Kinetik Health App:
Open your Kinetik Health app
Go to Settings
Look for the "Location Settings" section
You'll see your current permission status.
Clicking on that will take you to your device settings page.
Changing Permissions on Your Device:
If You Have an iPhone:
Go to Settings on your phone
Scroll down and tap Privacy & Security
Tap Location Services
Find and tap Kinetik
Choose your preferred option:
Never - No location access
Ask Next Time or When I Share - You'll be prompted each time
While Using App - Location access only when the app is open
Always - Full location access
If You Have an Android Phone:
Go to Settings on your phone
Tap Apps (may be called "Application Manager")
Find and tap Kinetik
Tap Permissions
Tap Location
Choose your preferred option:
Don't allow - No location access
Ask every time - You'll be prompted for each use
Allow only while using app - Location access when the app is open
Allow all the time - Full location access
Additional Information:
Immediate effect - Changes take effect immediately for your next trip
Complete opt-out option - You can completely disable location tracking, though this may impact your service quality
