Requesting a Single-Leg Trip

Kinetik’s member app allows you to easily book trips and review information after creation. To book your trip, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Select New Trip at the bottom the screen

  2. Select One-Way, then hit Continue

  3. In the “Processed by..” screen, choose which insurance should cover the trip, who the trip is for, and if anyone is booking the trip on the rider’s behalf. To change any of these options, click their icon and select one of the menu options.

    Once each option is set correctly, hit Accept and Continue

  4. Select your pickup location. Begin by clicking on the search bar, then either type in an address or select any presaved options in the dropdown menu

  5. If the pin showing the location isn’t exactly right, you can move it to the correct location by selecting Adjust the Pin Location and dragging it with your finger.

    Once the location is correct, hit Confirm Address

  6. Select your dropoff location. Once you’ve clicked the search bar, you can either type in an address or select any presaved options in the dropdown menu

  7. If the pin showing the location isn’t exactly right, you can move it to the correct location by selecting Adjust the Pin Location and dragging it with your finger.

    Once the location is correct, hit Confirm Address

  8. Select the trip date. Begin by hitting the “Select a date” bar, then scroll through the Month, Day, and Year options until each is set correctly. Once the information is correct, hit “Apply”

    If that date looks correct, hit Continue.

  9. Next, we’ll clarify what time the rider should arrive at their appointment. The pickup time will be sent to you once a driver has been assigned.

  10. Hit the “Select a time” bar, then scroll through the Hour, Minute, and AM/PM options until each is set correctly. Once the information is correct, hit Apply.

    If that time looks correct, hit Continue.

  11. (Optional) Select "I don’t know" if unsure about transportation timing. Your driver will be notified to wait for your call.

    Click Continue when done.

  12. (Optional) Add a note for your driver to help them better assist you. This can include things like mobility assistance the rider might need, an apartment number, or any other helpful information.

    Click Continue when done.

  13. Select your trip reason from the list of options. This helps drivers understand your needs and provide appropriate service. You can narrow your options by typing the service into the search bar.

  14. Once you’ve finished, hit Continue.

  15. Clarify if there are any child or adult attendants that will be accompanying the rider.

    Once you’ve finished, hit Continue.

  16. Next, you can confirm if there have been any changes to the rider’s health profile since you last set them. If necessary, make any changes on the page by clicking and editing the options.

    Once you’ve finished, hit Continue.

  17. Finally, confirm the details of the trip you’ve created. You can select and edit any details by clicking on each and using the options in the dropdown menu

  18. Once you’ve finished, you’ll see a screen showing that the trip has been requested. This screen will let you know when to expect confirmation and what time to expect the driver at your pickup location.
