Once your iOS device is connected to the QR software, right-click the green Ready box to access the Conveyor QR settings.

Enable "Show Scratch Pad" if you'd like to dictate while working in other applications, such as EMRs or imaging systems.

Select "Disconnect" to end the current connection while keeping Conveyor QR running.

Close the Conveyor QR application on your computer. Click "Quit" to fully exit the desktop app.

Hover over Advanced to view additional Conveyor QR settings.

By default, Conveyor QR displays a floating orange QR code while it waits to connect. Once connected to your iOS device, the QR code changes to a green Ready box.

Enable Keep Conveyor in the Menu Bar to hide the floating QR/Ready box and keep Conveyor QR running from the menu bar (macOS) or the system tray (Windows) instead.

Green icon — iOS device is connected to this computer using QR Software

Gray icon — iOS device is NOT connected to this computer using the QR software

Note: The QR status icon is only visible when Keep Conveyor in the Menu Bar is enabled.

If Conveyor QR isn't entering dictated text correctly, especially when using a remote desktop or a virtual environment such as Citrix or Microsoft Remote Desktop, Alternative Typing Mode may help.

Try one of the two options below to find the setting that works best with your computer or remote environment.

Local Formatting is enabled by default and allows Conveyor QR to use the text around your cursor to format dictated text more naturally. It automatically adjusts spacing and capitalization based on the surrounding text, helping reduce the need for keyboard corrections.

Select Skip Local Formatting when you don't want Conveyor QR to make these automatic adjustments. Your dictated text will be entered without changing capitalization or spacing to match the text around your cursor.
