How do I set loyalty points for specific products?

Can products be configured for different amounts of loyalty points.

Loyalty points are calculated based on points per £ for a transaction eg 5 points for every £1 spent.

However, it's also possible to apply a different number of points to specific products eg 10 points for every £1 spent on coffees. This is done by using the product field selective itemisers to define which products get the product specific points.

Setting up Loyalty Points that apply to specific products is a 2 step process:

  1. Customer Group Programming:

  • TouchOffice Web - Customers - Groups

  • Decide which selective itemiser you want to apply the points and enter the points value

2. Set the selective itemiser for the products:

  • TouchOffice Web - Products - PLU Details Programming - Terminals Flag Tab

  • Tick the appropriate selective itemiser that matches what you set in Customer Groups

  • Repeat the process for all the product that you want to apply the selective itemiser points to
