Loyalty Types Available:
There are 3 loyalty types that can be configured.
Standard Discount Loyalty:
A set % discount is applied to either all products, or different rates (or no rate) per selective product itemiser 1 to 4.
When a customer is signed on, all items matching the rules are subject to the specified & discount, this includes any items already rung in, and any items stored to a table.
It is also possible to shift the prices to price level 2.
The Standard loyalty discount is available via TouchPoint, online ordering and kiosk ordering.
The Standard loyalty discount is NOT available via PocketTouch.
2. Points Loyalty:
You define the value of 100 points when setting up the loyalty scheme - most businesses set this at £1.00 so that one point is equal to one penny.
Points are earned based on pounds spent. You can configure different point values:
Points per pound spent on all products
Different Points per pound for product selective itemisers 1 to 4
For example, using selective itemisers you could award 5 points for food products but only 2 points for drinks
The award of points can be restricted to the subtotal value. This ensures that the points are calculated net of any discounts already applied to a transaction.
If calculate points at subtotal is set, then it is NOT possible to configure points by selective itemiser 1-4.
Points can also be awarded on whole pounds only, or rounded up for any part of a pound spent.
The value of points is based on points per pound eg 5 points
Points can be used as a payment method
It is also possible to shift the prices to price level 2.
Points can be earned and redeemed via TouchPoint and online ordering
Points can NOT be earned or redeemed via Kiosks or PocketTouch.
3. Price Level Loyalty:
Changes price level at the point the customer is logged on.
Previous items rung into the till will remain at original price level.
Loyalty price level change is available via TouchPoint, online ordering and kiosk ordering.
Loyalty price level change is NOT available via PocketTouch but it could be set manually for each transaction.
Customer Groups:
Each individual customer must be linked to one customer group.
Customer groups are used to associate a loyalty type with a customer.
More than one loyalty type can be used as part of a system but an individual customer can ONLY be linked to one customer group (loyalty type).
If you are using more than one customer group make sure that customer group 1 is your default one, as this is what is assigned to a customer when they first sign up.
