Creating the Online Account:
Navigate to https://www.touchoffice.net > CUSTOMERS > LIST
- Edit the customer details. 
- Click on the Online Account - SEND PASSWORD EMAIL button. 
- An email will be sent to the member that enables them to create a password for their ByRetail online account. 
- When the member opens the email (see above), they need to Click on the Create Password button. 
- The member is then directed to the Password Reset screen on the ByRetail website. 
- The member can now create their own password for their online account. - Enter a new password and then confirm the new password. 
- Now click UPDATE PASSWORD 
 
- The member is now redirected to the Customer Login screen on the ByRetail website - https://xxxxxxxxx.byretail.net/account/login - Login is via email address and password. 
 
Verifying the Online Account:
- Once the account has been created and the member signs into their online account, they will get the message: - Your email address has not been verified. As a result, some features have been restricted. Click here to resent the verification email. 
- The member needs to click the link - this will automatically send them the email verification. 
 
- When the member receives the verification email they need to click on the Verify your email button - this will activate all account features. 
Logging into the Online Account:
- The member needs to enter their email address (the one setup in TOW) and the password they have created. 
- Click the LOGIN button. 
- If they have forgotten their password, can they click on the Forgot password? link. 
- When you login to your online account, a virtual membership card appears at the top of the screen and displays the following information: - Members name 
- Membership type 
- Pre paid balance 
- Membership expiry date 
 
My Membership QR Code:
- The Membership QR Code can be scanned by a QR Code reader attached to the POS terminal. 
- The QR Code identifies the customer to the POS terminal in exactly the same way that a Members Card does. This facilitates members discounts and the redemption of funds from a pre paid balance. 
My Membership:
- This option displays the membership status: - A valid membership displays the membership days remaining in green 
- An expired membership displays the date expired in red 
 
- Below the membership status is a list membership renewals available. 
- The member can click on an ADD TO ORDER button for a specific membership renewal to add this to the basket. The member can then click on the basket to checkout and pay for the membership renewal online. 
- Once paid the membership renewal details are updated within the members online account and also for the Customer details held in TOW. 
My Orders:
- This option is most relevant if the ByRetail system is also being used for the online ordering of drinks or food. 
- The My Orders option enables you to view previous orders and to quickly reorder based on a previous order. 
My Tickets:
- The ByRetail system can be configured to enable the sale and management of tickets for events and admissions. 
- The sale of a ticket can be configured to capture specific customer details, a meal choice for example. Events can also be configured with a customisable seating plan which enables customers to purchase tickets for specific seats or tables. 
- Tickets can be validated at the POS or using a ticket QR code scanner app.
