- Customer sign up is done online via the ByRetail / ByTable online ordering system > My Account > Sign Up button. 
- The signup form captures the following information: - Email address 
- First Name 
- Last Name 
- Password 
- Opt in/out preference for promotional notifications 
 
- On sign up the customer will automatically receive a verification email and a link needs to be clicked to verify the account. 
- When a customer has successfully signed up, the customer details will be visible in TouchOffice Web via the Customers > List menu option. - The Start Date (date of sign up) will be visible along with their points balance 
 
- New customers are automatically assigned to Customer Group 1 so this needs to be configured as the default loyalty type. 
Sign Up Configuration
The system has the following configuration options:
- Automatically award a set number of loyalty points at sign up. 
- Disable customer self sign up. - In this scenario customer details would have to me manually added via TouchOffice Web.
