The SRP-275II is a dot matrix ktchen printer that uses a NON thermal paper roll and a black / red ink ribbon.
There are two buttons on the front of the printer - the POWER ON/OFF switch bottom right and the red circle FEED button on the front control panel.
How to reset the Bixolon SRP-275II Kitchen Printer:
- Turn off the power using the POWER ON/OFF switch. 
- Hold down the feed button whilst powering back on. 
- This will reset the printer and print a test docket. 
Bixolon SRP-275II Control Panel:
POWER LED (Green Colour)
- When the power is turned on, this indicator light is GREEN. 
ERROR LED (Red Colour)
- Constant RED error light - Indicates either printer is out or nearly out of paper or the front printer cover is open. 
- To resolve the issue, check the paper roll and that the printer cover is closed. 
 
- Fast Blinking RED error light - Indicates the rear printer cover is not closed. 
- To resolve the issue, make sure the rear printer cover is closed. 
 
- Single Blinking RED error light - Indicates there is a problem with the auto cutter. 
- To resolve, try a printer reset. 
 
- Double Blinking RED error light - Indicates a paper jam. 
- Open the printer covers and check / clear any paper jams. The try a printer reset. 
 
PAPER OUT LED (Red Colour)
Only Paper Out light on
- Indicates that the paper roll is near end and will need changin shortly. 
Paper Out AND Error lights both on
- Indicates that the paper is out and an new roll is required. 
How to Change the Paper Roll
- Open the rear cover by pushing the open button on the top, middle, right hand side. 
- Check for and remove the old used paper roll core. 
- Insert the new paper roll with the paper coming off the bottom of the roll. 
- Pull out a small amount of paper off the roll so that it pertrudes above the front printer cover. 
- Close the rear cover and tear off the excess paper by pulling it towards the front of the printer. 
How to Install a new Ribbon Cassette
- Make sure that you have a black / red ribbon. 
- On the new ribbon, turn the knob clockwise to tension the ribbon and prevent it twisting on installation. 
- Open the front cover of the printer. 
- Take out the old ribbon, taking note of how it fits. 
- Insert the new ribbon and make sure the ribbon is placed behind the printer head. 
- Turn the knob clockwide to make sure the ribbon moves freely in the cassette. 
- Close the front cover of the printer.
