Updating membership expiry dates in is typically managed through the TouchOffice Web back-office software. Updates can also be performed directly on the TouchPoint EPOS till when membership subscriptions are paid, though this requires additional script files and setup.

Below are the methods for managing membership renewals and expiry dates:

1. Updating via TouchOffice Web (Recommended)

As the central management system for your EPOS tills, TouchOffice Web allows you to manage member details, including renewals and expiration dates.

  • Log in to your TouchOffice Web account.

  • Navigate to the Members or Customers section.

  • Locate the specific member.

  • Edit the member's record to update the Expiry Date field.

  • Save the changes. These will automatically sync with your EPOS till(s).

2. Updating on the EPOS Till via a Sale

The membership expiry date can be automatically updated when a membership package is purchased. To use this feature:

  • Sign on to the till.

  • Select the membership fee button (i.e. sell a membership).

  • Swipe the membership card or use the membership lookup key to select the member.

  • Select Pay Now and complete the transaction.

This process updates the expiry date on both the till and the TouchOffice Web back office.

3. Updating Directly on the EPOS Till

If you do not have a back office, you can manage members through the till’s management menu:

  • Sign on to your TouchPoint till.

  • Navigate to Member Management or the Customer File area (this may require a manager code or specific button configuration).

  • Select the member and update the renewal/expiry date manually.
