Overview:
This script allows you to adjust the stock levels on TouchOffice Web from TouchPoint. This is to allows you to set items in or out of stock on ByRetail simply by making the stock level 0 or to your in stock value.
The stock site setting in ByRetail need to be turned on but please note this cannot be activated if the ByRetail system is set to allow future date ordering.
There is a TouchOffice Web Category setting that allows you to disable the stock feature for specific web categories. Foe example, you may only want to use the stock feature for specials.
Be aware that this script will adjust your stock levels. If using stock then this will make your stock levels incorrect. If accurate stock is required, do not use this script.
Please note that the script needs to be installed and configured by Mobo.
Operation:
A status key will be added to the POS keyboard (it will be called something like Edit Web Stock).
It's possible to restrict the use of this status key to clerks that are set as managers.
Sign on to the POS terminal
Press the Edit Web Stock button
From the Set Stock pop up window select either:
Set PLU In Stock (this will update the stock to the preset value eg 10,000)
Set PLU Out Of Stock
Press the PLU button that you wish to update the stock level
You will get a pop up confirmation message to confirm your request
You can repeat this process if you need to update multiple products
