Delivery Hours:

  • A specific set of opening hours can be configured purely for delivery orders via the option:

  • Tillconfig.net > Takeaway > Delivery Settings > Site > Settings > Delivery Hours

Last Order Time:

  • The Last Order Time overrides the delivery hours and enables you to set a specific last order time for same day orders.

  • Last Orders times are set via:

  • Tillconfig.net > Takeaway > Delivery Settings > Site > Settings > Last Orders

  • Please note that the Last Order time does not apply to future date orders.

Order Scheduling:

  • If order Scheduling Enabled is set then the customer must pick a delivery time.

  • The Scheduling Interval (set in minutes) determines the delivery times available for the customer to select and work in conjunction with Scheduling Times or Slots and the Scheduling Preperation Time.

Scheduling Times or Slots:

  • The system can be configured to use Scheduling Times or Slots - this determines how the delivery tie is displayed to the customer eg 10:30, 11:00, 12:00 (times) or 10:30-11:00, 11:00-11:30, 11:30-12:00 (slots).

  • The benefit of using slots is that the time is less specific and gives the delivery driver more leeway.

Scheduling Preparation Time:

  • Scheduling Preparation Time (set in minutes) is the time that you need to prepare and deliver an order. For example, Scheduling Prep Time 30 = Customer could order up to 16:30 for a 17:00-17:30 slot.

Scheduling Offset:

  • The Scheduling Offset determines when the order prints (set in minutes). For example, if it is set at -60, the order for a 17:00-17:30 timeslot would print at 16:00.

  • Setting Scheduling Dates to Yes allows customers to select a future date.

  • The number of days in advance that custer can order is set using the option Scheduling Days into Future.
