Note: The Import feature is available only if your school or district has enabled Google Classroom through your Hub administrator. If you don't see an Import button contact math@moderclassrooms.org.
The Import feature sends your course materials directly to your Google Classroom, organized by lesson and activity. You can choose between two paths: Quick Import to use your saved preferences and import right away, or Guided Import to review and customize your content before it's sent.
Before you begin:
You must be signed in to the Resource Hub using Google single sign-on (SSO). Upon signing in, there are prompts to accept Google permissions. Accept all permissions in order to successfully import materials. If not, imports may fail.
If that happens, sign out and sign back in, accepting all permissions when prompted.
How to access Import:
Select Import in the upper-right corner of any Section or Topic page.
ββ
On the next screen, select the class you want to import into. A summary of your current import preferences, including visibility setting and content types, is shown below your class list.
From here, choose how you want to proceed:
Quick Import: Uses your saved preferences and starts the import immediately. Best when your preferences are already set up the way you want.
Guided Import: Walks you through five steps to review and adjust your content before importing. Best for first-time imports or when you want more control.
Tip: If you run the same import more than once, the Hub will skip any content that was already imported rather than creating duplicates. It's safe to re-run.
