The explore section is a space in the App where you can choose which website you want to show to travellers. It is an optional section, i.e. if you prefer not to use this section and not to link to any website, you can simply configure the App so that this section does not appear.
1. Where to add the URL
We have to add this URL in our explore section of "Settings", which is where we indicate the website that we want to be shown by default in all the trips in the App. We can customise the text we want to be shown.
If, on the other hand, depending on the type of trip we want to show a different website, we must configure it within a specific trip from the "Application" section.
2. Cases of use
Tailor-made travel - Sale of optional activities
Many agencies have their own affiliate link with activity providers such as Civitatis, Getyourguide, Viator, Tourscanner, etc. This is very useful when it comes to offering in the App a window of recommendations at the destination and being able to increase sales of activities, transfers, with little effort.
FIT travel - flight check-in
This button can also be very useful to include the link to the flight check-in. This way travellers will always have it at hand and will be able to confirm their arrival quickly and easily. This saves time and effort for passengers, as they can check in from the App and do not have to go to the check-in desk at the airport.
Honeymoon trip - Bride and groom wish list website
On a honeymoon trip, you can include the wish list url or define with the bride and groom the gift packages to be offered so that the guests can contribute to make the trip truly special.
Incentive trip - Sponsors
Providing attendees with a list of sponsors is an excellent way to showcase the companies that support the event. In addition, sponsors can also benefit from this as it gives them an opportunity to promote their products and services.
School trip - School website
It can also be a good idea to give parents direct access to the school website. This gives them the opportunity to get to know the school staff who will be in charge of the students during the trip.
