How to Setup a Standing Order

Standing orders are a good way to schedule payments to bay bills or send regular amounts to another account.

Navigate to the 'Payments' Section

From the home screen select the Payment Icon from the bottom of the screen

Select Standing Order

On the payment screen scroll down to the section Scheduled and select Standing Order

Press Add New Standing Order

On the Standing Order screen you will see your existing standing orders and you can add a new standing order. If you are setting up a new standing order press the button Add New Standing Order

Choose Transfer Type

Choose whether you are sending money to another Money Jar account or an account with another bank.

Add New Account

If you select Bank Transfer Account then you will need to select an account you have previously sent money to or add a new account.

NOTE: If you are adding a new account make sure you have the following details of the account holder:

  • Name

  • IBAN

Enter Amount

Enter the value you wish to send to the recipient. You can also add a reference which will only be displayed for you.

Set When The Payment Will Occur

When choosing a date you must first select the frequency as either monthly or weekly and then choose the day of the month or week which this transfer should be completed on.

Activate Your Standing Order

The final thing you need to do is review the standing order you have setup before activating it by pressing the button Activate Standing Order.
