Failed Deposit to Your Moreta Wallet
Updated this week

If you received a notification that your deposit to Moreta was unsuccessful, don’t worry—this issue can often be resolved quickly. Below are common reasons why a deposit might fail and steps you can take to resolve it.

Possible Reasons for a Failed Deposit

  1. Insufficient Funds – Your bank account may not have enough balance to complete the transaction. Double-check your available balance before attempting the deposit again.

  2. Bank Authorization Required – Some banks block or require additional authorization for certain transactions, especially international or digital wallet deposits. Your bank may need you to approve the transaction before it can be processed.

What You Can Do

Step 1: Check Your Bank Balance

Before trying again, confirm that you have enough funds in your account to cover the deposit amount.

Step 2: Contact Your Bank

If your balance is sufficient but the deposit still failed, reach out to your bank’s customer support and ask:

  • If they blocked the transaction

  • If they require additional authorization for deposits to Moreta

  • If there are any restrictions on your account that might prevent the transfer

Step 3: Try Again

Once you've verified that your bank allows the deposit, you can try adding funds to your Moreta wallet again.

Step 4: Reach Out to Moreta Support

If you've tried the steps above and are still experiencing issues, feel free to contact our support team at support@moreta.io. We'll be happy to assist you!
