A new “Super Account Manager” user role has been created, providing administrative privileges and exclusive access to a DCPM (Data Cost Per Impressions) input page. These Super Account Managers also have exclusive access to a new “CPM Management” tab within the platform, where they can add or remove the DCPM column from their preferred data views.
Purpose of This Feature
The main purpose of introducing DCPM is to enhance the user experience by providing a deeper understanding of campaign performance. Specifically, it enables users to:
Assess cost effectiveness: Evaluate how efficiently campaigns are performing in terms of cost.
Optimise budget allocation: Identify high-performing campaigns and allocate resources accordingly.
Make data-driven decisions: Leverage insights from Data CPM to refine advertising strategies.
Primary Focus: DCPM Metric
This feature primarily aims to introduce the DCPM metric into the platform. The system will calculate and add the DCPM for each Facebook (Meta) campaign, allowing Super Account Managers to:
Add or remove the DCPM column through the new “CPM Management” tab.
Retain these settings so that the DCPM column persists across sessions
according to each user’s preferences.
Campaign Summary View
A new campaign summary view has been added, featuring cards that display the following metrics:
Sum of Total Spend
Total Impressions
Average Total CPM
Total CDR
Total Clicks
Total CTR
Average Total CPC
Updated Table Columns
In the Social & Display Advertising > Facebook Advertising section, the existing CPM column is replaced with “Cumulative CPM” (CPM + DCPM). This update also includes displaying CPC and Total Spend columns, as well as providing “Edit” functionality for these columns.
New User Role
The “Super Account Manager” role has been introduced with the following characteristics:
Administrative privileges (equivalent to an admin account).
Access to the Meta CPM page.
Exclusive control over the CPM Management tab and the DCPM settings.
Updates to Reports
All relevant reports are being updated to incorporate DCPM and Cumulative CPM calculations, providing more comprehensive insights into campaign costs and performance metrics.
DCPM Input Page
A dedicated DCPM Input Page is available for Super Account Managers to view their Facebook (Meta) campaigns in a table format. This table includes:
Campaign Name
Campaign Status
Campaign Creation Date
Impressions
CPM
Data Cost
Data CPM
DCPM Effective Date
DCPM Last Updated Date
DCPM Editing Functionality
Super Account Managers can edit the DCPM value and effective date for any specific campaign:
Edit Action: Clicking the edit button under the “Actions” column opens a pop-up modal.
2. Pop-up Modal: Includes fields for DCPM and the effective date, along with “Save”
and “Cancel” buttons.
3. Save: Once clicked, the system validates inputs for correctness and consistency, updates the DCPM and effective date in the database, and logs all changes (including the user who made them and the timestamp).
4. Cancel: Discards any changes and closes the modal without saving.
Performance
The system is designed to load the DCPM input page and its data quickly and efficiently, ensuring a smooth user experience.
Security
All sensitive campaign data is protected. Access to DCPM functionality and settings is restricted to authorised Super Account Managers, maintaining a high level of data security and compliance.
