Your Facebook Advertising tab in Social & Display Ads section provides a detailed breakdown of your campaigns.

The date picker at the top modifies reporting so you can see what happened during that time period. The top-line metrics summarise the marketing performance and give a brief overview of all your campaigns.

Metrics

Sum of Total Spend : This represent the total spend including the data cost of all campaigns in the selected period

Total Impressions: When an ad is served. With emails: email opens.

Average Total CPM: CPM measures the total amount spent on an advertising campaign, divided by the number of impressions and multiplied by 1,000. This represents a average value of CPM for all the campaigns

Total CDR : This represents the total of cumulative daily reach of the selected period

Total CTR (Click-through rate): The percentage of impressions that resulted in a click.

Total Clicks: The metric counts multiple types of clicks, taps or swipes on your ad, including certain types of interactions with the ad container, links to other destinations and links to expanded ad experiences

Average Total CPC: The CPC shows how much, on average, each link click costs you. CPC is a metric used in the online advertising industry for benchmarking ad efficiency and performance. This shows an average value of CPC for all the campaigns

The Campaign List at the bottom of the page details a grid with relevant and customizable campaign-level information and metrics.

Campaign wise Result

Clicking the arrow before the campaign name leads you to Ad sets, where you can access the individual ads in the ad sets. These results are provided with relevant and customizable campaign-level information and metrics.

Overall Platform performance

This section gives a detailed grid on platforms associated with the ad performance. A graph below the grid shows the impressions and CPM.

Overall Age performance

This section gives information on your audience’s age associated with the ad campaign. A graph below the grid shows the impressions and CPM.

Overall Gender performance

This section segments your audience based on gender. A graph below the grid shows the impressions and CPM.

Overall device performance

This section gives information on the devices your ad campaigns are viewed on. A graph below the grid shows the impressions and CPM.
