Overview

The Magento integration connects your Magento store directly to Mortar DS, allowing seamless, near real-time synchronisation of your sales, product, and customer data.

By integrating Magento with Mortar, your entire e-commerce dataset is consolidated into one unified platform — giving you cleaner data, improved analytics, and smarter marketing insights to help increase sales and revenue.

Mortar uses your Shop URL, Access Token, and Time one to securely link to your Magento account. Once connected, the integration automatically updates your Mortar dashboard in near real time, keeping all key business data current without manual intervention.

By consolidating data from multiple systems, Mortar DS eliminates duplicate entries, fills in missing values, and provides accurate, actionable insights — boosting productivity and enabling better data-driven decision-making.

How to Connect Magento to Mortar DS

Step 1: Access the Magento Integration

1. In your Mortar DS dashboard, go to the Integrations page.

2. Click Magento to open the Magento integration panel.

3. Click Connect to begin setup.

Step 2: Enter Your Magento Details

After clicking Connect, a setup window will appear requesting your Shop URL and Access Token.
These details allow Mortar DS to establish a secure connection with your Magento store.

Step 3: Retrieve Your Shop URL

1. Open your Magento store in your browser.

2. Copy the full store URL (e.g., https://www.storename.com.au).

3. Paste this URL into the Shop URL field in Mortar DS.

Step 4: Configure Magento Web API Access

Before generating your token, make sure API access is enabled:

1. Log in to your Magento 2 Admin Panel.

2. Go to Stores → Configuration → Services → Magento Web API.

3. Under Web API Security, set Allow Anonymous Guest Access to Yes, then click Save Config.

4. Next, go to Services → OAuth.

Step 5: Generate Magento API Keys

1. In your Magento 2 Admin Panel, go to System → Extensions → Integrations.

3. Enter the following details:

a. Name: e.g., Mortar DS Integration

d. Password: Enter your admin password to authorise the setup

4. In the left-hand panel, select the API tab.

5. Under Resource Access, choose All.

6. Click Save to create the integration.

7. Return to the Integrations grid, locate your new integration, and click Activate.

8. Review the permissions and click Allow.

Your Access Token will now be displayed (alongside Consumer Key and Secret).
Copy the Access Token only.

Step 6: Adjust OAuth Settings

  1. In the Magento Admin Panel, go to System → Configuration → Services → OAuth.

  2. Under Customer Token Lifetime (hours), set the value to 0 to keep the token active indefinitely.

  3. Click Save Config.

2. Paste your Shop URL and Access Token into the fields provided.

3. Select the Time one used in your Magento store.
