Offering customers the ability to choose their preferred communication channels is important in fostering positive relationships. While VGM automatically incorporates unsubscribe links into messages requiring Reminder or Marketing consent, you may also desire to include unsubscribe links in other messages sent from your system—such as those labelled as "Legitimate Interest" or lacking consent tags altogether.
Here's how to implement this feature:
Navigate to the "Config" option in the top menu, and then select "Settings".
Click on the "Messaging" tab to access your communication settings.
Within the "Unsubscribe Links" dropdown menu, you have the option to control the inclusion of unsubscribe links. Choose between:
"Add to All Messages": Selecting this option ensures that unsubscribe links are added to all outgoing messages, regardless of consent requirements.
"Only to Consent Required Messages": Opting for this setting limits the inclusion of unsubscribe links to messages that necessitate consent.
By adjusting this setting, you can tailor your messaging strategy to align with your customers' preferences and compliance requirements effectively.
