The Communication Consent Management window includes an export feature, enabling you to export your filtered result set into a spreadsheet for external use with other systems, such as Mailchimp.

Instructions:

  1. Navigate to the Communication Consent Management window by clicking on “Messaging” in the top toolbar, then selecting “Communication Consent”.

  2. Refine your result set using the filters provided on the left-hand side (for detailed instructions, see “Using the Consent Management Grid”). - ADD LINK TO 'The Consent Management Grid' ARTICLE

  3. Click on the “Export” button located beneath the filters to open the export window.

Further Refinement:

Within the export window, you can further refine your results to include only those with current consent for specific communication methods and types. For example, if you intend to send a marketing email, you can tick the “Exclude invalid consent” checkbox next to the Email line to export only those customers with valid Email Marketing consent.

Finalizing the Export:

Once you've applied your desired filters, click on the “Export” button to generate a comprehensive spreadsheet containing all remaining customers in the dataset. This spreadsheet includes their consent expiry dates and their Customer Portal link.

About the Customer Portal Link:

The Customer Portal link allows customers to manage their own consent settings. It is automatically appended to all VGM messages requiring consent to send. Consider including this link when communicating with customers through other platforms.
