Once a supplier has responded to your Purchase Return, you will need to resolve that purchase return by crediting the parts on it, or by re-adding those items to stock if the return was refused.

To resolve a Purchase Return, follow these steps:

Convert to Purchase Credit:

  • Open Financial > Purchase Returns and find the return you wish to credit.

  • Right-click on the return and select "Convert to Purchase Credit".

  • Verify the credit reference and date, and review the parts listed in the lower grid.

  • To exclude a part from the credit, left-click on the row and adjust the quantity.

  • Click the "Save" icon on the right-hand side of the row to apply changes.

  • Click "Save" in the bottom-right to create the new purchase credit and resolve the items allocated to it.

Re-add Part to Stock:

  • If you wish to re-add a part to stock because the return was refused by your supplier, open the Purchase Returns tab.

  • Select the return containing the part you want to re-add to stock. (1)

  • Left-click on the part in the lower grid to select it. (2)

  • Click on the "Return to Stock" button in the top-left of the lower grid. (3)

  • Add a Reference and Description for the stock adjustment.

  • Click "Save and Close" to create a new Stock Adjustment for that part.
