This article will go over the basic functionality available from the sales document grid.

Accessing Sales Documents

To access the sales documents grid:

  1. Navigate to Financial in the top menu.

  2. Select Sales Documents from the drop-down menu.

This will bring up the sales documents grid, where you can access different views using the tabs at the top:

  • Invoices: View all sales invoices.

  • Credits: View all credit notes.

  • Quotations: View all sales quotations.

  • All: A combined view of invoices, credits, and quotations.

Each tab provides an overview of the documents within that category, including information such as:

  • Document value (1)

  • Whether the document has been printed or emailed (2)

  • Whether the document has been posted (3)

  • For quotations, whether they have been converted into jobsheets or sales invoices (4)

Filters

In the top right corner, there are additional filters to help you find specific documents:

  • Communication Status: Filter based on whether the document has been printed or emailed.

  • Conversion Status: Filter quotations based on whether they have been converted.

  • Posted / Not Posted: Filter based on whether the document has been posted.

Top Toolbar Options

From the top toolbar, you have several options for managing sales documents:

  • New: Create a new sales document.

  • Edit: Edit the selected sales document.

  • Delete: Delete the selected sales document.

  • Print: Print the selected sales document.

  • Email: Email the selected sales document.

  • Post: Post a selected invoice or credit.
