OS migration note for Cliniko and Nookal users
During the Motics OS migration, some Cliniko and Nookal integrations need to be reconnected with the clinic's API key. This is expected and does not mean your Motics account, sessions, notes, or EHR data have been deleted.
If Motics shows an authentication error, missing credentials, disabled integration, or asks you to reconnect Cliniko or Nookal, go to Settings > Integrations, open the relevant integration, re-enter or verify the API key, save the connection, then retry the push.
Before you push
Open the latest version of the summary.
Review patient names, dates, medication names, measurements, and clinical details.
Confirm the session is linked to the correct EHR patient.
Confirm the target EHR integration is active in Settings -> Integrations.
Confirm only the intended EHR provider is active.
Integration-specific checks
Cliniko:
API key is configured.
The API key includes the correct shard suffix, such as
-uk1.The patient is linked before pushing.
Nookal:
API v3 Basic Key is configured.
The correct region is selected.
A practitioner is selected where required.
Meddbase:
Meddbase access is approved for your organisation.
Required Meddbase credentials are configured.
Referrer letters have a contact with an address.
Semble:
API token is configured.
Patient search works before pushing.
If push fails
Use Copy with preserved line breaks as a temporary fallback, then paste the note into the EHR manually.
Do not repeatedly retry a failing push without checking the patient link and integration credentials.
