OS migration note for Cliniko and Nookal users
During the Motics OS migration, some Cliniko and Nookal integrations need to be reconnected with the clinic's API key. This is expected and does not mean your Motics account, sessions, notes, or EHR data have been deleted.
If Motics shows an authentication error, missing credentials, disabled integration, or asks you to reconnect Cliniko or Nookal, go to Settings > Integrations, open the relevant integration, re-enter or verify the API key, save the connection, then retry the push.
Overview
Push an edited Motics summary to Cliniko as a draft treatment note against the patient.
Before you start
Go to Integrations → API Keys and enter your Cliniko API key. Enable the Cliniko integration.
Link the session to a Cliniko patient (search/map in the patient selector).
Step‑by‑step
Open your session
Generate the summary and make final edits.Choose the version
Pick the correct version from the Version dropdown if multiple exist.Push to Cliniko
Click Push → Cliniko. Confirm the patient and note title (e.g., “Session Summary – 31/01/2025”).Review in Cliniko
We create a draft treatment note. Finalise it inside Cliniko if needed.
What gets sent
Cleaned HTML adjusted for Cliniko’s section-based layout.
Document title and timestamp for traceability.
Troubleshooting
Missing API key: Add your key under Integrations → API Keys and re‑enable.
Patient not linked: Link a Cliniko patient in the session first.
API error: If Cliniko returns an error, try again or re‑authenticate the integration.
Best practice
Use Copy (preserve line breaks) for quick pasting where API push isn’t appropriate.
Keep summaries concise and clinically structured to speed up reviews inside Cliniko.
