Personal knowledge is uploaded by you and is intended to support your own Chat Agent responses. Use it for your preferences, common wording, personal reference documents, or material relevant only to your work.
Organisation knowledge
Organisation knowledge is shared across users in the organisation, where enabled. Use it for clinic-wide policies, protocols, patient information sheets, standard operating procedures, service descriptions, and internal guidance.
Who can manage organisation knowledge?
Organisation knowledge permissions depend on your role and organisation settings. Some users can view organisation knowledge but cannot upload or delete it.
If you need a shared document added and cannot upload it, ask an owner/admin to add it.
Which should I use?
Use personal knowledge for individual preferences or private working material.
Use organisation knowledge for policies or content everyone in the clinic should use consistently.
Use guideline search for external formal clinical guidance.
Use web search for current public information outside your uploaded content.
How to ask Chat to use the right knowledge
Be explicit:
Use my personal knowledge base.Use the organisation knowledge base.Use the uploaded policy document called...Do not use the web for this answer.
If the wrong document is used
Ask again and name the document, tag, or source. If the document was recently uploaded, confirm processing has completed before relying on it.
