Confirm Packing Option

Updated over a week ago

After the inbound plan has been created, you’ll be asked to Generate Packing Options. Click the blue button to move forward.

You may be asked to select a packing option if there are multiple, but in almost all cases, Amazon returns only one option. In that case, AccelerList will auto-confirm and move on to the next step.

In rare cases, you will be provided multiple options, and you can choose one from a dropdown and click Continue.

What this step does

Amazon groups your SKUs into Packing Groups and proposes how they should be packed/labeled. Each Packing Group

You’ll review the proposal and confirm. In most cases, there will be only one option provided from Amazon.

Once you’ve confirmed the packing option, you’ll be taken to the Box Contents step of the workflow, where you’ll see the exact details of the packing group split.

In the case above, there was exactly one packing group. If there are multiple packing groups, you'll see that exact same UI repeated again below this packing group.

If you received an unexpected packing group split, the best way to handle that is:

  1. Write down the SKUs in the unexpected packing group (usually it’s just a few items that need to be packed separately)

  2. Cancel the inbound plan

  3. Remove those SKUs from your batch

  4. Re-create the plan

At this point, you’ll most likely see that there is only one packing group left, and you can move forward!
