How to Access the General Tab
Log in to AccelerList.
Click Settings on the left sidebar.
Click the Listing tab at the top.
Make sure you are on the General sub-tab.
What You Will See on This Page
The General tab is divided into two sections:
Defaults (left side)
Workflow (right side)
Defaults Section
These fields define the default values used when creating new listings.
1. Default Condition
This sets the default condition applied to newly listed items.
Common conditions include:
NewItem
Like New
Very Good
Good
Acceptable
This setting is helpful if most of your items usually start with the same condition.
2. Buy Cost
This field sets the default purchase cost of your items.
If a value is entered here, it will automatically populate the buy cost when listing items unless you manually change it.
This helps with:
Profit tracking
Cost reporting
Accounting records
3. Quantity
This sets the default quantity for newly listed items.
Example:
1means each new listing will default to one unit unless changed.
This is useful for sellers who typically list single items.
4. Min Price
This sets the minimum price allowed when listing items.
Example:
If Min Price is 0.01, the listing price cannot go below 1 cent.
This helps prevent pricing errors and is often used with pricing rules or repricing tools.
5. Max Price
This sets the maximum price limit for listings.
Example:
If Max Price is 10000, listings cannot exceed that amount.
This prevents items from being priced too high by mistake.
6. Tax Code
This sets the default tax code used for listings.
Example shown:
A_GEN_TAX
Tax codes help determine how taxes are applied depending on your Amazon tax settings and marketplace requirements.
Workflow Section
These settings control how AccelerList behaves during the listing and scanning process.
1. Price While Listing
When enabled, AccelerList will prompt you to enter or confirm a price while listing each item.
This is useful if you prefer to manually review prices during the listing process.
2. Grade While Listing
When enabled, AccelerList will ask you to select the item condition while listing.
This ensures that every item is graded correctly before being added to the batch.
3. Require Buy Cost Before Adding to Batch
When enabled, you must enter the buy cost before an item can be added to the batch.
This ensures accurate:
Profit calculations
Cost tracking
Financial reporting
4. Always declare “No batteries / Not dangerous goods”
When enabled, AccelerList will automatically declare that the item:
Does not contain batteries
Is not dangerous goods
This can speed up listing for products that do not contain hazardous materials.
⚠️ Be cautious if you sell items that may actually contain batteries or hazardous components.
5. When Relisting Items
This setting controls what happens when listing an item that already exists in your inventory.
Example option shown:
Always create a new MSKU
This means every relisted item will receive a new SKU rather than replenishing an existing one.
This setting affects:
Inventory tracking
SKU management
Replenishment behavior
Condition tracking
6. Show Replenishable SKUs for Any Condition
When enabled, AccelerList will show replenishable SKUs even if the condition does not exactly match.
When disabled, only SKUs with the same condition will appear for replenishment.
This setting controls how flexible replenishment options are during listing.
7. Enable Rapid Scanning by Default
When enabled, new batches will automatically start with Rapid Scanning mode.
This allows faster scanning and listing workflows for high-volume sellers.
8. Automatically route restricted inventory to eBay
When enabled, items that are restricted on Amazon can automatically be routed to eBay instead.
This feature helps sellers continue listing items that cannot be sold on Amazon by crosslisting them to eBay.
How to Update Your General Listing Settings
Review the fields under Defaults and Workflow.
Adjust the settings according to your preferred listing workflow.
Click Save to apply your changes.
Important Note
These settings act as your global default listing settings.
They apply only when creating new batches.
If you change listing settings inside an existing batch, those changes will affect that batch only and will not update your default settings in the General tab.
