How to Cross-List Items to eBay from the Inventory Tab

This guide shows you how to cross-list items to eBay directly from the Inventory tab in AccelerList and explains the fields you’ll need to complete before publishing.

Updated over a week ago

Step 1: Open the Inventory Tab

Go to Inventory from the left-side menu.
Make sure you are on the Amazon tab if you want to cross-list your Amazon inventory to eBay.

At the top of the page, you can use filters such as:

  • Fulfillment – Filters items by fulfillment type

  • Status – Filters items by listing status

  • Cross-Listing – Filters based on cross-listing status

  • Search bar – Lets you find a specific item by title, ASIN, or SKU

Step 2: Find the Item You Want to Cross-List

Locate the item you want to send to eBay from your inventory list.

Each row shows useful item details such as:

  • Product – Product title and ASIN

  • SKU – Your merchant SKU

  • QTY – Quantity available

  • Price – Current price

  • Buy Cost – Cost basis for the item

  • Rank – Sales rank

  • Condition – Current condition code

  • eBay – Shows whether the item is already listed on eBay or gives you the option to list it

  • Supplier / Purchased – Optional sourcing information

Click List on eBay beside the item you want to cross-list.

Step 3: Review the Product Section

A listing window will open with the product details already pulled in.

In the Product section, you’ll see:

  • Title – The product title that will appear on eBay. You can edit this if needed.

  • Image URLs – Product image links pulled in from Amazon. You can remove images you do not want to use.

  • Upload my own images – Lets you add your own photos instead of using Amazon images.

  • Description – The item description for your eBay listing.

  • Condition Note – Add notes about the specific condition of your item, such as markings, wear, or damage.

Step 4: Review the Pricing Section

On the right side, AccelerList shows a pricing comparison between Amazon and eBay.

This section may include:

  • Your Amazon Price – Your current Amazon listing price

  • Your eBay Price – The price that will be used for eBay

  • Recent Price – Recent eBay pricing references, such as new or used prices

  • Amazon FBA Fees – Estimated Amazon fees

  • eBay & PayPal Fees – Estimated eBay-related fees

  • Amazon Net Profit – Estimated Amazon profit

  • eBay Net Profit – Estimated eBay profit

This helps you compare marketplaces and decide if cross-listing makes sense.

Step 5: Complete the Required Fields

Under Required Fields, you must complete the fields needed by eBay before the item can be listed.

Category

This is the eBay category for your item.
Example: Books

Use the correct category so eBay can classify the item properly.

  • Refresh Categories – Reloads the category suggestions if needed

Condition

This tells buyers the condition of the item.
For books, available options may include:

  • Brand New

  • Like New

  • Very Good

  • Good

  • Acceptable

Choose the option that best matches the item’s actual condition.

Quantity

This is how many units you want to list on eBay.
For most used books, this is usually 1.

Step 6: Fill Out Additional Fields (Only If Needed)

Under Additional Fields, eBay may require more item specifics depending on the category.

⚠️ Important: You only need to use this section if you receive an error indicating that required information is missing.

You may see a note like:

  • Required fields by eBay for this category are Author, Book Title, Language

If an error appears during listing, simply add the missing field(s) using the Add Field button and fill in the required information.

Common fields include:

  • EAN – The barcode or product identifier

  • Author, Title, Language – Common for books

  • Other category-specific item details

Filling out only the required fields helps keep your workflow fast while ensuring your listing goes through successfully.

Step 7: Update Product Dimensions if Needed

The Update Product Dimensions section is optional and usually only needed if eBay asks for shipping dimensions.

You may see buttons such as:

  • Use Package Dimensions (Recommended) – Uses packaged dimensions for shipping

  • Use Item Dimensions – Uses the product’s item dimensions instead

Fields in this section include:

  • Dimensions Unit – Unit of measurement for size, such as inches or centimeters

  • Width / Height / Length – Package or item dimensions

  • Weight Unit – Unit of measurement for weight

  • Weight Value – Item or package weight

  • Package Type – Select the package style

Recommended package types may include:

  • Letter

  • Large Envelope

  • Package

  • Large Package

Only fill this out if needed or if eBay returns an error asking for dimensions.

Step 8: Best Offer (Optional)

The Best Offer section is optional.

If enabled, this allows buyers to send offers on your listing instead of only purchasing at the fixed price.

Use this if you want more flexibility in pricing.

Step 9: Submit the Listing

After reviewing and completing all required fields, submit the listing to eBay.

Make sure:

  • The title is correct

  • Images look good

  • Price is set properly

  • Condition is selected

  • Required item specifics are filled out

Once submitted, the item will be sent to eBay for listing.
