Cross-listing to eBay in AccelerList allows you to list eligible inventory on both Amazon and eBay without having to create the eBay listing manually from scratch.
Once your eBay account is connected and properly set up, AccelerList can use your inventory information to create an eBay listing.
What Is Cross-Listing?
Cross-listing means offering the same inventory for sale on more than one marketplace. For example, an item you have listed on Amazon can also be listed on eBay, giving it more exposure to potential buyers.
AccelerList helps simplify this process by using your existing inventory information to create the eBay listing.
Before You Start Cross-Listing
Before cross-listing, make sure:
Your Amazon account is connected.
Your eBay account is connected and authorized.
Your eBay listing settings are configured.
Your required eBay Business Policies are set up.
Your inventory is available and eligible to be cross-listed.
Having these settings ready can help prevent errors when AccelerList sends the listing to eBay.
How Cross-Listing Works
Once your accounts and settings are ready, you can select eligible inventory in AccelerList that you want to cross-list to eBay.
AccelerList uses the available product and listing information to prepare the eBay listing. Depending on your settings and workflow, you may be able to review or provide information needed for the eBay listing before it is published.
After the listing is submitted, eBay processes the information and either publishes the listing or returns an error if something needs to be corrected.
What Information Is Sent to eBay?
The information required for an eBay listing may include details such as:
Product title and description
Item condition
Price
Quantity
Images
Shipping and return information
eBay category or Store Category
The exact information used may depend on the product and your AccelerList and eBay settings.
What Happens After an Item Is Cross-Listed?
Once the item has been successfully published, it becomes available for buyers on eBay.
You should check the listing after it is published to make sure the product information, price, condition, shipping details, and other settings appear correctly.
What If the Listing Fails to Publish?
If an item cannot be published, review the error message returned during the cross-listing process. Errors can occur when eBay requires additional information or when a listing or account setting needs to be corrected.
After correcting the issue, you can try cross-listing the item again.
If you're unable to determine what is causing the error, contact AccelerList Support and provide the error message and a screenshot so the issue can be investigated.
Why Use Cross-Listing?
Cross-listing gives your inventory exposure to buyers on more than one marketplace while reducing the need to create each listing separately. With your Amazon and eBay accounts properly connected and configured, AccelerList can help make managing your multi-marketplace inventory easier.
