What Happens After You Connect eBay to AccelerList?

Learn what happens after connecting your eBay account to AccelerList, including reviewing your settings, setting up business policies, and getting ready to cross-list your inventory.

Once your eBay account is successfully connected to AccelerList, you can begin setting up and using the eBay cross-listing features. Connecting your account allows AccelerList to communicate with eBay so eligible inventory can be listed and managed across the two platforms.

Before you start cross-listing, it’s a good idea to review your eBay settings to make sure everything is configured correctly.

1. Review Your eBay Settings

After connecting your account, check your eBay settings within AccelerList. Make sure your listing preferences and other available eBay options are set the way you want them.

Having your settings configured before you begin can help prevent problems when publishing your listings.

2. Make Sure Your eBay Business Policies Are Ready

Your eBay account should have the necessary Business Policies set up. These may include your:

  • Shipping policy

  • Return policy

  • Payment settings or policy, where applicable

These settings tell eBay how orders, shipping, and returns should be handled.

If required information is missing or invalid, eBay may prevent a listing from publishing.

3. Set Your eBay Store Category

If you have an eBay Store, you can review or select the Store Category you want to use for your listings.

Store Categories help organize your inventory so buyers can more easily browse similar products within your eBay Store.

4. Start Cross-Listing Your Inventory

Once your eBay connection and settings are ready, you can begin using AccelerList to cross-list eligible inventory to eBay.

This allows you to expand your listings beyond Amazon without having to manually recreate every listing directly on eBay.

5. Check Your Listings on eBay

After cross-listing an item, check its status to make sure it was successfully published.

If a listing fails, review any error message provided. An error may indicate that information required by eBay is missing or needs to be updated.

6. Keep Your Connection Active

Your eBay authorization may occasionally need to be renewed. If AccelerList shows that your eBay account has become disconnected, go to your connection settings and reauthorize the account.

You're Ready to Start Cross-Listing

Connecting eBay is only the first step. Once your account is connected and your eBay settings are properly configured, you can begin cross-listing your eligible inventory and managing your eBay workflow through AccelerList.

If you encounter an error or aren't sure whether your eBay setup is complete, contact AccelerList Support and provide a screenshot or error message so the team can help.
