What Is Rapid Scanning in AccelerList?

Learn what Rapid Scanning is, how it speeds up the listing process, and when it can be useful for sellers listing multiple items.

What Is Rapid Scanning?

Rapid Scanning in AccelerList is designed to help sellers process inventory more efficiently by reducing the amount of manual work required for each item.

Instead of stopping to configure the same listing information repeatedly, Rapid Scanning allows you to scan items and move through your inventory using the settings you've already configured for your batch.

This can be especially helpful for books and media sellers processing a large number of products.

How Does Rapid Scanning Work?

Before you begin, you create or open a batch and configure the appropriate settings for your listing workflow.

Once Rapid Scanning is enabled, you can scan an item's barcode, ISBN, UPC, or other supported identifier. AccelerList searches for the corresponding product information and allows you to continue processing inventory using your configured batch settings.

Why Use Rapid Scanning?

Rapid Scanning can help you:

  • Process inventory more quickly.

  • Reduce repetitive data entry.

  • Maintain a more consistent listing workflow.

  • Take advantage of your predefined batch settings.

  • Move through large amounts of inventory more efficiently.

When Should I Use It?

Rapid Scanning is most useful when you're processing multiple items and already know which settings you want to use for the batch.

If you need to carefully review or customize information for every individual product, the regular listing workflow may be more appropriate.
