Product Labels and Rapid Scanning
If you're preparing inventory for Amazon FBA, your products may require Amazon barcode labels (FNSKU labels).
How and when those labels can be printed depends on whether you're replenishing an existing FBA item or creating a new FBA listing.
Replenishment Items
For replenishment items, product labels can be printed as you add the item to your batch.
This allows you to scan an existing FBA product, print its label, apply it to the item, and continue to the next product.
New FBA Items
For new items, printing an FNSKU label immediately as the item is scanned is no longer supported in the same way.
For new FBA items, the listing first needs to sync so the required Amazon information is available. You can then print the product label once the item has synced or during the Box Content process.
Before Rapid Scanning
If you'll be printing labels during your workflow, make sure:
Your printer is properly connected.
The correct printer is selected.
The correct label size is loaded.
Your printing software or connection is running when required.
Your test label prints correctly.
Important
Don't assume every item will automatically produce a label immediately after scanning. The available printing workflow can depend on whether the product is a replenishment or a new FBA item.
