Amazon SP-API Authorization: What Happens When Access Expires or Is Revoked?

Explains how Amazon authorization allows AccelerList to communicate with your seller account and what to do when that connection is interrupted.

Why Does AccelerList Need Amazon Authorization?

AccelerList uses Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API) to communicate with your seller account.

This connection allows supported information and actions to pass between Amazon and AccelerList.

What Happens If Authorization Is Interrupted?

Depending on the issue, you may experience problems with:

  • Product and inventory synchronization

  • Listing information

  • FBA workflows

  • Shipment creation

  • Other Amazon-connected features

How Can I Check the Connection?

First check your Amazon connection within AccelerList and verify that the appropriate marketplace is connected.

You can also review the third-party application authorization within your Amazon seller account.

What If Amazon Shows AccelerList as Active?

An Active authorization confirms that AccelerList has authorization to communicate with the account, but it doesn't necessarily mean every individual Amazon API request is succeeding.

If AccelerList shows as authorized but you're still experiencing problems, check Seller Central for account warnings or restrictions and provide Support with examples of the affected products or actions.

Reauthorizing Your Account

If the connection has expired, been revoked, or otherwise needs to be restored, reconnect or reauthorize your Amazon account through AccelerList.

Once authorization has been restored, allow the account to sync and try the affected action again.
