AccelerList requires an active authorization with your eBay account to communicate with eBay and keep your listings, inventory, and orders updated. If your eBay authorization expires or becomes disconnected, some eBay-related features in AccelerList may stop working correctly.
What Is eBay Authorization?
When you connect your eBay account to AccelerList, you authorize AccelerList to communicate with eBay on your behalf.
This authorization allows AccelerList to perform supported actions such as cross-listing inventory and syncing information between the two platforms.
The authorization can eventually expire or may be revoked, requiring you to reconnect your eBay account.
Signs Your eBay Authorization May Have Expired
If your eBay authorization is no longer active, you may experience issues such as:
eBay inventory not syncing correctly
Cross-listing to eBay failing
eBay orders not updating in AccelerList
Changes not syncing between AccelerList and eBay
Authorization or connection-related error messages
If multiple eBay features suddenly stop working, checking your eBay connection should be one of your first troubleshooting steps.
How to Check Your eBay Connection in AccelerList
Log in to your AccelerList account.
Go to Settings.
Select Connections.
Open the eBay connection section.
Review the current status of your eBay account.
If the connection indicates that authorization has expired, the account has become disconnected, or reauthorization is required, you'll need to reconnect the account.
How to Reauthorize Your eBay Account
If your eBay account needs to be reauthorized:
Go to Settings → Connections → eBay in AccelerList.
Select the available option to reconnect or reauthorize your eBay account.
You will be directed to eBay.
Sign in using the eBay account you want connected to AccelerList.
Review and approve the requested permissions.
Return to AccelerList and verify that your eBay account shows as connected.
Once authorization has been restored, AccelerList should be able to communicate with your eBay account again.
Why Can an eBay Authorization Become Invalid?
An authorization may stop working for several reasons, including:
The authorization has expired.
AccelerList's access was manually revoked from eBay.
Changes were made to the eBay account that affected the existing authorization.
The account needs to complete the authorization process again.
Checking Third-Party Access on eBay
You can also review applications that have access to your eBay account directly through eBay.
Go to:
My eBay → Account → Sign in and security → Third-party app access
Review the applications connected to your account and check whether AccelerList still has access.
Still Having Problems After Reauthorizing?
If you've successfully reauthorized eBay but your inventory, listings, or orders still aren't syncing, allow some time for the connection to update and try the affected action again.
If the issue continues, contact AccelerList Support and provide:
Your eBay username or account information
A description of what isn't syncing
Any error message you're receiving
A screenshot or screen recording, if available
This will help determine whether the problem is related to the eBay authorization or another part of the integration.
