📦 What Is Dispatch in My Easy Monogram?

Dispatch is the moment an order is officially sent to production.

Once an order is dispatched:

• It is locked for production
• It can no longer be edited or canceled
• It moves into manufacturing

MEM allows you to control when orders are dispatched using a schedule and optional delay buffer.

You can manage these settings under:

MEM App → Settings → Order Processing

⚡ Auto Push to Production Explained

When Auto Push to Production is enabled, MEM automatically sends ready orders to production based on your dispatch schedule.

When enabled:

✔ Orders are dispatched automatically
✔ No manual processing required
✔ Follows your scheduled times

When disabled:

• Orders must be manually dispatched

💡 Most merchants keep this turned ON for smooth automation.

📅 Setting Your Weekly Dispatch Schedule

Your dispatch schedule controls the days and times MEM sends orders to production.

How to configure:

  1. Go to Settings → Order Processing

  2. Under Weekly Dispatch Schedule, set times for:

Weekdays – Monday through Friday
Weekends – Saturday & Sunday (or select “Not today” if you don’t dispatch)

  1. Choose the time you want orders sent each day

📌 Example:
Orders dispatch every weekday at 8:30 AM, with no weekend dispatch.

⏱ Using the Minimum Delay Buffer

The Minimum Delay adds a waiting period before an order becomes eligible for dispatch.

This is helpful for:

• Reviewing personalization
• Catching order issues
• Allowing time for edits or cancellations

How it works:

Set a number of hours (example: 6 hours)

Orders will:

✔ Wait the delay period
✔ Then dispatch at the next scheduled dispatch time

🧮 Try It: Dispatch Calculator

The Dispatch Calculator shows exactly when an order would be sent to production based on your current settings.

How to use it:

  1. Select an order date

  2. Enter an order time

  3. MEM will display:

    • Order received time

    • Time after delay buffer

    • Next dispatch window

This helps you verify your schedule before using it live.

💡This is a tool to simulate when an order will be sent to production based on your settings.

✅ Recommended Setup Best Practices

For most merchants, we recommend:

✔ Auto Push to Production ON
✔ Dispatch times once daily (morning works best)
✔ 4–8 hour delay buffer for review time
✔ No weekend dispatch unless you process weekends

This gives you:

• Time to review orders
• Automated production flow
• Fewer mistakes & rush changes
