How to Add a Custom Wellness Item to your client's myWSA or myFlexplan

Adding custom wellness items to a Wellness Spending Account (myWSA) or myFlexplan is a straightforward process! Follow these steps to customize the benefits plan to better meet your client's needs:

  1. In your Advisor portal, navigate to the "Clients" tab -> click on the client, and go to "Plans".

  2. Select and edit the myWSA or myFlexplan: Once you are in the Plans tab, choose the specific myWSA or myFlexplan you wish to modify, and click the pencil icon beside it! This brings up the plan details, where you can make necessary adjustments.

  3. Scroll to the Bottom and Add Custom Items: Scroll down to the bottom of the screen. You’ll see a plus sign (+) icon, which allows you to add custom wellness items. You can add a Major category, and a sub-category. Or, you can just add a new item under an existing Major Categor. Click on it to enter the details of the new item(s) you'd like to include in the plan.

  4. Check and Save Your Selection: Ensure each item you want is checked off. Then, hit "Save" to finalize your changes.

That’s it! Your custom items will be added immediately, providing your client with an enhanced, tailored wellness plan experience.
