Allocating funds on a distribution schedule in your myFlexplan doesn’t have to be confusing. We understand that it can feel overwhelming, but with a few simple steps, you’ll be on your way to making the most of your benefits.

Key Tip: Allocate What’s Available Now

When you’re on a distribution schedule, you only need to allocate the amount available in your account right now. There’s no need to try and allocate the total balance of your plan for the year. The system will handle the rest for you.

How It Works: A Real-Life Example

Let’s say your total plan amount for the year is $2,000, but you receive your funds in quarterly distributions of $500. Instead of trying to allocate the entire $2,000 upfront:

  1. Allocate only the $500 currently available.

  2. The system will automatically allocate future distributions as they become available.

  3. You’ll see how your funds add up to the total $2,000 by the end of the year.

This process ensures your allocations are accurate and reflect what’s available to you now.
