Ever noticed that myHSA doesn’t bother with policy or group numbers? There's a reason for that!
Here’s the deal: Unlike regular insurance, myHSA doesn’t do direct billing. Since we are an HSA instead of insurance, we have to take a different route. You pay for your medical expenses upfront. Once you’ve settled the bill, you shoot the receipt over to myHSA, and we reimburse you. I know! We totally understand that paying first is sometimes not ideal, which is why we work very hard to have a super fast claim adjudication turnaround (less than 3 days) and you get paid your reimbursement via direct deposit the following Wednesday or Friday immediately after approval!
