If you find that your myHSA account has been locked, don't worry. This guide will walk you through the steps you need to take to regain access.

1. Recognize the Lock Notification

When attempting to log in to your myHSA account, you might see a pop-up notification stating that your account has been locked. This message will advise you to contact your Plan Administrator for assistance. If you know the account was locked because of several failed login attempts, you can reach out to us via live chat or email support@getmyhsa.com instead.

2. Who is the Plan Administrator?

The Plan Administrator is the individual at your company responsible for handling employee enrolments and account management on myHSA. This person has the necessary authorization to unlock your account. To unlock your account, you need to get in touch with your Plan Administrator. They are the only ones who can authorize the unlocking of your account.

3. Finding Your Plan Administrator’s Contact Information

If you are unsure who your Plan Administrator is or need help finding their contact information, you can get assistance through the following channels:

  • Live Chat: Visit the myHSA website and use the live chat feature to ask for help in finding your Plan Administrator.

  • Email Support: Reach out to the myHSA support team by emailing support@getmyhsa.com. Provide them with your name and company details, and they will help you locate the correct contact person.

5. What to Expect Next

Once you have contacted your Plan Administrator and they have allowed us to unlock your account, you should be able to log in as usual. If you continue to experience issues, please contact the myHSA support team for further assistance.

By following these steps, you can quickly and effectively regain access to your myHSA account and continue managing your health savings account without any disruptions.
