Engaging employees effectively is crucial for building an awesome culture, maximizing the benefits you provide, and making Employees feel at home with your company. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to use myHSA to boost employee participation and ensure they get the most out of the benefits package that makes your company the place that they want to be!

1. Introduction to Employee Engagement - Show them you CARE!

Employees will know you care about them if they understand what the benefits package includes. A benefits package is like a first impression with a new employee – make it the best impression possible!

2. Effective Onboarding

Initial Training: Provide a structured onboarding process with comprehensive training for new employees on myHSA. We offer a variety of resources, including videos, handbooks, graphics, and presentations. Check out your "Resources" tab or ask your advisor for help!

User Guides and Tutorials: Share a link to our FAQs at the myHSA Help Centre. This allows employees to research and understand how to use myHSA on their own.

3. Ongoing Training and Development

Regular Webinars and Workshops: Schedule regular sessions to demonstrate myHSA plan updates and new features, ensuring employees are always informed about their benefits.

4. Clear and Consistent Communication

Announcements and Updates: Use the platform’s announcement feature in your Plan Admin login (Email All Employees) to keep employees informed about their myHSA accounts, features, updates, and important information.

Feedback Channels: Establish clear channels for employees to provide feedback about their benefits. Listening to their input can help improve the overall experience.

5. Incentivizing Participation

Highlight Incentives: Show employees all the cool incentives of using their myHSA account, including non-taxable expense reimbursement for eligible items.

Personalization Using a WSA: Make your WSA list personal to your employees. If you know an employee loves biking, ensure the WSA covers the costs of purchasing and maintaining a bicycle, accessories, and race registrations.

Create a WSA category called "Treat yourself!": The WSA can be whatever the employer wants it to be, so having a "Treat Yourself" category is a great way to meet employees exactly where they are at!

6. Utilizing Data and Analytics

Utilization Metrics: At the end of the year, review your Utilization Report to identify any gaps in coverage that need addressing. This ensures your benefits package remains relevant and comprehensive. This can be found in your "Reports" tab!

7. Enhancing Accessibility

Help with Submitting Claims: As the Plan Administrator, you can submit claims on behalf of your employees. This can be a great help to those who need an extra hand. You can show them the ropes, or just submit it on their behalf, whatever you prefer.

Mobile and Desktop Access: Our platform offers both a Mobile App and an Online Desktop version of myHSA, allowing users to access their accounts on the go, at home, or at work.

8. Share Success Stories!

Employee Testimonials: Encourage employees to share their myHSA success stories, reimbursements, and testimonials. Hearing from colleagues who have benefited from the platform can be a powerful motivator.

By implementing these strategies, you can boost employee engagement and utilization of their myHSA accounts, ensuring they get the most out of their benefits. Remember, a well-informed and engaged employee is a satisfied and productive one.
