Summer is blazing on in the Northern Hemisphere, but that's not slowing us down! We're pleased to introduce the latest enhancements and features for Logiwa IO in this new release. This update brings a variety of improvements aimed at optimizing operations, enhancing user experience, and expanding system functionality. Key updates include refined shipping options, expanded carrier support, FIFO logic for kit assembly processes, and new inventory management fields. Dive into the details below to discover how these new features can benefit your operations.

Scale Integration for Packing Screen

We are pleased to announce the addition of "Scale Integration" to the Logiwa IO Add-On screen and its implementation on the Packing screen.

  • Once subscribed to Scale Integration, users can create PrintNode credentials on our Add-On screen, set up packing station computers, and connect scales to our system.

  • After configuration, packers at stations with connected scales will no longer need to manually enter weight or rely on product master data for weight information. The weight will be automatically retrieved via scale integration, ensuring more accurate package weight results.

  • For more information, please check out the Scale Integration article & Supported Printer List.

Screen Recording Option on Logiwa IO Interface

A screen recording button is now available on the Logiwa IO web interface! Use this feature to simplify your case creation process by explaining issues via video instead of text.

After completing your recording, copy the generated URL and send it to the Logiwa support team when creating your support case.

One by One Count

You can now activate the one-by-one flow on the mobile Count screen.

A new One by One Count toggle has been added to the Settings tab for Count Job Types, allowing you to enable or disable enforced one-by-one counting.

Copy & Paste on Mobile Picking

We are pleased to announce that users can now copy specific fields from the product card on Mobile Picking screens. The fields that can be copied include: Product SKU, Lot Number, Expiry Date, Production Date, From Location, and From LPN.

Shipment Order Cancel Reasons

You can now set order cancellation reasons when canceling orders. This enhancement allows the creation of specific cancellation reasons on the Data Setup screen, giving users the flexibility to categorize and manage cancellations based on predefined reasons.

Users will be able to see the cancellation reasons on the shipment order grid for canceled orders.

Work Order Creation via Excel

The Work Order screen now features an Excel import option to simplify the work order creation process for kit-to-stock items.

Multiple work orders can be created simultaneously and can then be allocated and grouped into jobs.

Adjustment Reasons

You will now see the Adjustment Reason field on the Adjustment sidebar on the Inventory by Location screen, allowing you to specify the adjustment reasons for each action.

This enhancement allows the creation of specific adjustment reasons on the Data Setup screen, and users can select from these reasons when adjusting inventories.

The selected Adjustment Reasons will be shown on the Transaction History screen

What's New/Improved

  • We have developed an international shipping process with EasyPost. Our users can now create labels for their international shipments and print commercial invoices as well.

  • We have enhance our screen to display all shipping rates while using the TechShip rateShopping groups. Users will now see all available rates from rate shopping. The system will automatically select the cheapest rate, but users can change their shipping option if they prefer not to proceed with the cheapest one.

  • We now support DDU/DDP incoterms based on billing type selection with UPS, EasyPost, FedEx, TechShip When the international billing type is selected as "Receiver" or "Third Party," the incoterm will be sent as DDU. If the billing type is selected as "Sender" or not selected, the incoterm will be sent as DDP.

  • The Edit Connection screen for integrations such as Techship, ShipStation, Stamps, and Easypost now allows users to manually refresh the list of services.

  • Users can now specify a date within the past two months in which to get orders during initial channel setup.

  • With Shopify integration when all of the products within the fulfillment move to another location we develop our logic so it will cancel that previous order so it wont create any duplicaton

  • Product client has been added to the SKU wave conditions.

  • Users attempting to remove their own access to a warehouse or client will now receive a clear warning message, preventing unintentional access removal.

  • Total weight information will now be visible on the Shipment Order screen, allowing users to better track the total weight of orders.

  • Logiwa's Stamps integration now supports additional carriers beyond USPS, expanding shipping options for users.

  • FIFO logic can now be applied during kit assembly and disassembly processes, and logs of these processes can be viewed on the Transaction History, Inventory by Location, and Receiving History screens.

  • Canceled orders are now listed on the Order Backlog screen, offering a complete view of all orders, both active and canceled.

  • Users can now cancel unfulfilled shipment order lines for partially shipped orders. The canceled quantities are tracked in a new column, "Canceled UOM Quantity," in the Shipment Order Details (Products tab in Shipment Order).

  • A new parameter has been added to Shipment Plan screen (Prevent Edit LPN During Loading). When this parameter is enabled, the Edit LPN bottom-of-screen pop-up shown during mobile loading operations if a scanned Parent LP/LP has pending loading tasks can now be disabled.

  • The file size limit for downloadable printouts has been increased, allowing users to download larger, more detailed documents.

  • The system now processes bulk printout generation requests more efficiently, reducing delays and processing times for large batches of printouts.

  • The Billing module now includes an Average option for inventory snapshots, averaging daily volumes over the billing period, resulting in totals based on overall usage rather than extreme or end-period values.

  • Unauthorized permissions are no longer visible on the tabs, we hide them until authorization is granted again.

  • The Order Inventory Report now lists allocated work orders and a new column is added to the report, as Work Order Code.

  • Total Inventory report has been updated to remove the damage reason field and include a new damaged qty field.

  • The mobile app now supports French language selection.

  • Introduced the "Shipment Order Type" field in the "Transaction History" screen for enhanced visibility and tracking.

  • When sending shipment information to ShipStation, we previously missed including the notifyCustomer, notifySalesChannel, and carrier information. With this release, notifyCustomer and notifySalesChannel will be set to true by default, and carrier information will also be sent.

  • Introduced a new fixed charge option in the billing module for shipment orders. Users can now set up pricing either per unit (per number of shipment orders shipped) or as a fixed charge for the pricing tiers.

What's Fixed

  • Previously, serial numbers tracked during packing remained in the Packed status if the shipment order's allocation was canceled, preventing reuse for other orders. Now, when an allocation is canceled, the serial number status is correctly reset, allowing it to be packed for other orders.

  • The Use Production Date parameter was not functioning correctly for the Expiry Date tracking in mobile processes. This has been corrected.

  • For Easypost, custom fields added in the Carrier setup were not displayed on shipment labels. This will no longer occur.

  • We have enhanced the sorting functionality for objects in filters. Previously, the objects were displayed in no particular order. With this update, objects are now sorted alphabetically. This improvement ensures a more organized and intuitive user experience when working with filters, allowing easier navigation and selection of objects based on alphabetical order.

  • In the past, column sizes in reports were reset upon page refresh. They will now remain consistent after a refresh.

  • Previously, duplicate LPNs were created when the same tracking number was used twice, causing issues in transfer, loading, and shipment processes. This will now be prevented by the system.

  • In some instances, the Actual Shipment Date column was not filled when marking shipment plans as shipped. This will no longer occur.

  • The Loading Completed Date was not auto-populated for empty shipment plans. The system will now trigger the Loading Completed Date even for empty shipment plans, ensuring complete loading information is recorded.

  • Carrier dropdown in the Shipment Plan Create Form was not being filled out based on the selected Warehouse. Now, the system takes the Warehouse into account and shows the enabled Carriers for that warehouse.

  • The system is only able to import the first 20,000 rows of an Excel file. This was not warned for in the past. Now, the system will inform the user: "There is a 20,000-row limit in the Excel Import files. Please import a maximum of 20,000 rows in one import file."

    • Note: Partial imports (over 20,000 lines) will no longer be completed.

  • The problem of occasional missing rows when exporting reports such as the Shipment Report containing too much data has been resolved.

  • Previously, inactive damage reasons were displayed on mobile screens for various processes. Now, the mobile app will only display active damage reasons.

  • In the past, the Mobile Picking process did not display the pop-up to enter the Expiry Date for products when the "Only 1 Lot Number" parameter was enabled. This pop-up will now display regardless of the parameters settings.

  • If more than one barcode is defined in the product pack type in replenishment, the barcode scanning issue has been solved.

  • When the Warehouse Default Weight Unit was set to Lbs or Oz, and the Product weight was in Kg or Gr, the weight was incorrectly calculated in the packing screen.

Now, we have implemented a "weight unit conversion" logic in the packing screen. Now, if the product's and/or shipment package type's weight unit differs from the Warehouse Default Weight Unit, the weight is automatically converted to the Warehouse Default Weight Unit.

  • Previously, users could remove the Lot Number, Expiry Date, and Production Date for inventory lines even when these attributes were tracked for the product. Now, changes to lot numbers, expiry dates, and production dates are only allowed if tracking is enabled for these attributes. (applies to both the Inventory by Location screen and the Open API endpoint.)

  • While a PO is being received in different times and if a PO line is cancelled, Receiving History Report occassionally was showing an incorrect PO Received Quantity which is improved to show the correct values.

  • For carriers that do not support master tracking numbers, the packing station previously displayed only the first package rate. With this fix, we will now show the correct rate information on packing station, which is the sum of the rates of all packages.

  • We fixed a bug where the system did not recognize tags with the same name if they were in lowercase. Now, the system correctly identifies tags regardless of case.

  • We missed sending information to custom fields #1 and #2 on EasyPost. This issue has been fixed, and now the mapped information will be sent to those custom fields.

  • The period field in billing reports has been fixed. Users can now accurately review the calculation period in the billing module.

  • The order type column on the task details screen is now functioning correctly, displaying the correct order type for each related order.

API/Webhooks

  • Previously, creating an RMA via the API endpoint returned a success response, but the RMA did not appear in the UI. RMAs created via API will now be correctly displayed in the UI.

  • We have introduced two new fields, cancelreasonidentifier and cancelreasonname, to the Cancel Order API. These fields must be filled out to cancel shipments with a specific cancellation reason. This update allows for more detailed tracking and management of order cancellations based on defined cancellation reasons.

  • cancelreasonidentifier and cancelreasonname has been added to the Get Shipment Order and List Shipment Order API services.

  • Added support for the "Note" field in the following API endpoints:

    • "Get Purchase Order Detail"

    • "Get Purchase Order Detail with Code"

  • Enhanced the "Transaction History" API endpoint by including the "ShipmentOrderTypeName" field to provide detailed transaction information.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented the usage of the "CarrierPackageName" field in the "Shipment Order Create" endpoint.

  • Resolved an issue where the "note" field was not populating correctly in the "Transaction History" API endpoint for inventory adjustment transactions.
