Reimbursements from Amazon

These appear as positive values in your account, reducing your net costs. Amazon issues them when it is responsible for lost, damaged, or incorrectly handled inventory.

WAREHOUSE_LOST (MRP: Warehouse - Lost Auto) and WAREHOUSE_LOST_MANUAL (MRP: Warehouse - Lost Manual): Amazon has determined that your inventory was lost inside one of its fulfillment centers and could not be located. Amazon reimburses you for the estimated value of the lost units. The manual variant is issued after a manual review or seller claim.

WAREHOUSE_DAMAGE (MRP: Warehouse - Damaged Auto) and WAREHOUSE_DAMAGE_EXCEPTION (MRP: Warehouse - Damaged Manual): Amazon damaged your inventory while it was stored in or processed through a fulfillment center. Amazon reimburses you for the estimated value. The exception variant applies to edge cases reviewed outside the standard damage process.

AWD_WAREHOUSE_LOST_MANUAL: Same as WAREHOUSE_LOST_MANUAL but for inventory stored in Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) facilities.

AWD_WAREHOUSE_DAMAGE: Amazon damaged your inventory while it was held in an AWD facility.

MISSING_FROM_INBOUND (MRP: Inventory Reimbursement - Inbound Lost): Units that were part of a shipment sent to Amazon but never arrived at the fulfillment center or were not scanned in. Amazon reimburses you for the missing units after the shipment reconciliation window closes.

MISSING_FROM_INBOUND_CLAWBACK (MRP: Reversal Inventory Reimbursement - Inbound Lost): Amazon previously reimbursed you for missing inbound units but later found them. Amazon takes back the reimbursement it issued earlier. This is a debit, not a credit.

AWD_MISSING_FROM_INBOUND: Units missing from a shipment sent to an AWD facility that were never received.

INBOUND_CARRIER_DAMAGE (MRP: Inventory Reimbursement - Carrier Damaged): Inventory was damaged during transit to Amazon's fulfillment center and the damage was attributed to the carrier. Amazon reimburses you in cases where they accepted the shipment despite visible damage.

Damaged:Warehouse (MRP: Inventory Reimbursement - Warehouse Damaged): Inventory damaged while in Amazon's warehouse. This is the legacy event name for the same type of reimbursement as WAREHOUSE_DAMAGE.

Lost:Warehouse (MRP: Inventory Reimbursement - Warehouse Lost): Inventory lost while in Amazon's warehouse. Legacy event name equivalent to WAREHOUSE_LOST.

MULTICHANNEL_ORDER_LOST (MRP: Multi-Channel Fulfillment Order Lost) and MULTICHANNEL_ORDER_DAMAGED (MRP: Multi-Channel Fulfillment Order Damaged): Inventory fulfilled through Amazon's Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) service was lost or damaged during the fulfillment process.

AWD_MULTICHANNEL_DISTRIBUTION_LOST and AWD_MULTICHANNEL_DISTRIBUTION_DAMAGED: Inventory was lost or damaged during distribution from AWD to fulfillment centers or MCF customers.

REMOVAL_ORDER_LOST (MRP: Removal Order - Lost) and REMOVAL_ORDER_DAMAGED (MRP: Removal Order - Damaged): Units were lost or damaged during a removal order where Amazon was shipping your inventory back to you or to a disposal facility.

CS_ERROR_ITEMS (MRP: Customer Service - Itemized): Amazon's customer service issued a refund to a buyer that was larger than the actual product value, or issued a refund for an item that was not returned. Amazon compensates you for the seller-funded portion of that error. This is a per-item reimbursement.

CS_ERROR_NON_ITEMIZED (MRP: Customer Service - Non-Itemized): Same as CS_ERROR_ITEMS but the reimbursement covers a group of transactions rather than individual items.

AWD_CS_ERROR_ITEMS and AWD_CS_ERROR_NON_ITEMIZED: Customer service error reimbursements specifically related to AWD-fulfilled orders.

BUY_WITH_PRIME_CS_ERROR_NON_ITEMIZED: Customer service error reimbursements for orders placed through the Buy with Prime program.

FREE_REPLACEMENT_REFUND_ITEMS (MRP: Refund Customer Return - Not Received): Amazon sent a free replacement to a buyer and covered the cost. This reimburses you for the item provided at no charge as part of Amazon's customer satisfaction policy.

COMPENSATED_CLAWBACK (MRP: Reverse Reimbursement): Amazon previously reimbursed you for a lost or damaged item, then located the item and took the reimbursement back. This is the debit that reverses an earlier reimbursement.

REVERSAL_REIMBURSEMENT (MRP: Reimbursement - Customer Return): A previously issued reimbursement has been reversed because the item was found, the claim was disputed, or Amazon determined the reimbursement was issued in error.

RE_EVALUATION (MRP: Reimbursement Re-Evaluation): Amazon has reviewed a previous reimbursement decision and adjusted the amount up or down based on a revised assessment of the item value or the circumstances.

CLI_PLANNED_FEE_REIMBURSEMENT (MRP: Reimbursement - Carton Level Info Fee): A planned reimbursement issued when a carton level info fee was charged incorrectly and Amazon proactively refunds it.

PREPFEE_REFUND (MRP: Prep Service Refund): A refund for prep service fees (labeling, bagging, wrapping) that were charged but should not have been applied, or were charged for units that were later removed or cancelled.

PRIME_WARDROBE_REIMBURSEMENT (MRP: Prime Wardrobe Reimbursement): Reimbursement issued for items involved in Amazon's Prime Wardrobe program, where customers try items before purchasing and return what they do not want.

ReCommerceGradingAndListingRefund: A refund for grading and listing fees previously charged in connection with Amazon's Renewed or re-commerce program for refurbished products.

Fee Corrections and Adjustments

These are corrections Amazon applies when fees were charged incorrectly or need to be adjusted after the fact.

CommissionCorrection (MRP: Commission Correction): A correction to a referral fee (commission) that was calculated incorrectly on a previous transaction. Can be a credit or a debit depending on whether you were overcharged or undercharged.

FeeAdjustment: A general fee adjustment that can apply to any fee type. Amazon uses this when a fee needs to be corrected outside of a specific named correction event.

INCORRECT_FEES_ITEMS (MRP: Incorrect Fees - Itemized) and INCORRECT_FEES_NON_ITEMIZED (MRP: Incorrect Fees - Non-Itemized): Amazon has identified that fees were charged incorrectly and is issuing a correction. The items variant is per-unit, the non-itemized variant covers a batch.

PAYMENT_RETRACTION_ITEMS (MRP: Reimbursement Retraction) and PAYMENT_RETRACTION_NON_ITEMIZED: A payment or reimbursement that was issued is being retracted by Amazon. This is typically used when a previous credit was issued in error.

NonSubscriptionFeeAdj (MRP: Non-Subscription Fee Adjustment): An adjustment to non-subscription fees such as per-unit or per-transaction fees.

SubscriptionFeeCorrection (MRP: Subscription Fee Correction): A correction to the monthly Professional seller subscription fee.

DisbursementCorrection (MRP: Disbursement Correction): An adjustment made to a previous disbursement that was sent in an incorrect amount.

FBA Fulfillment Fees

Charged every time Amazon picks, packs, and ships an item on your behalf.

FBAPerUnitFulfillmentFee (MRP: FBA Fee): The core FBA fulfillment fee charged per unit shipped. The amount depends on the product size tier and weight. This covers picking, packing, shipping, and customer service for the order.

FBAPerOrderFulfillmentFee: A fixed fee charged per order in addition to the per-unit fee. Applied in some categories or order configurations.

FBAWeightBasedFee: An additional fulfillment fee component calculated based on the weight of the item when weight is the primary sizing factor rather than dimensions.

CrossBorderFulfillmentFee: A fee applied when an FBA order is fulfilled from a different country or marketplace than where the buyer is located. Common for European pan-European FBA (Pan-EU) programs.

CustomerReturnHRRUnitFee (MRP: Customer Return - HRR Unit Fee): A fee charged per unit returned by a customer that requires High Return Rate (HRR) handling. Applied to product categories with elevated return rates.

FBA Storage Fees

FBAStorageFee (MRP: Storage Fee): The monthly storage fee charged based on the daily average volume of space your inventory occupies in Amazon's fulfillment centers. Rates differ by size tier and are higher between October and December.

FBALongTermStorageFee (MRP: FBA Long Term Storage Fee): An additional fee charged for inventory that has been in a fulfillment center for more than 365 days. Designed to encourage sellers to keep stock moving and avoid warehousing slow-moving products at Amazon.

FBAOverageFee (MRP: Inventory Storage Overage Fee): Charged when your inventory exceeds your allocated storage limit (capacity limit). Amazon introduced storage capacity management to control how much inventory sellers can hold in fulfillment centers.

StorageReservationFee: A fee for reserving storage capacity in Amazon fulfillment centers in advance. Sellers can pay upfront to secure storage space during peak periods.

StorageRenewalBilling (MRP: Storage Renewal Billing): Renewal charges for ongoing storage agreements or capacity reservations.

StorageBillingCGST (MRP: Storage Billing CGST - Tax), StorageBillingSGST (MRP: Storage Billing SGST - Tax), StorageRenewalBillingCGST (MRP: Storage Renewal Billing CGST - Tax), StorageRenewalBillingSGST (MRP: Storage Renewal Billing SGST - Tax): Indian GST tax components (Central GST and State GST) applied to storage fees for sellers in India.

FBA Inbound Fees

Fees related to sending your inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers.

FBAInboundTransportationFee (MRP: FBA Inbound Transportation Fee): The cost of shipping your inventory to Amazon's fulfillment centers when using Amazon Partnered Carrier Program or when Amazon charges inbound transportation as part of a supply chain service.

FBAInboundTransportationProgramFee (MRP: FBA Inbound Transportation Program Fee): A fee for enrolling in Amazon's inbound transportation program, which provides discounted carrier rates for shipping inventory to fulfillment centers.

FBAInboundConvenienceFee (MRP: FBA Inbound Placement Fee): A fee applied when Amazon receives a shipment and the items were not prepared or labeled according to requirements, requiring additional handling. In MRP this maps to the inbound placement fee.

FBAInboundDefectFee: Charged when shipments arrive with defects such as missing labels, improper packaging, or shipments that do not comply with Amazon's preparation requirements.

FBAInboundShipmentCartonLevelInfoFee: A fee for shipments that do not include carton-level information as required by Amazon. Sellers who do not provide box content information are charged this fee.

FBAInternationalInboundFreightFee (MRP: FBA International Freight Shipping Charge): Charged for international shipments entering Amazon's fulfillment network as part of the Global Logistics or Supply Chain programs.

FBAInternationalInboundFreightTaxAndDuty (MRP: FBA International Freight Duties and Taxes Charge): Taxes and import duties associated with international inbound shipments through Amazon's logistics programs.

GlobalInboundTransportationFreight: Freight charges for global inbound shipments arranged through Amazon's international shipping services.

GlobalInboundTransportationDuty: Import duties and customs fees for inventory shipped internationally into Amazon fulfillment centers through Amazon's programs.

FBA Inventory Placement Service Fee (MRP: Inventory Placement Service Fee): When Amazon places your inventory across multiple fulfillment centers (distributed inventory placement), this fee covers the cost. Sellers can pay a higher per-unit fee to have all inventory sent to a single location instead.

FBA Return and Disposal Fees

FBADisposalFee (MRP: FBA Disposal Fee): Charged when Amazon disposes of your inventory on your behalf. You can request disposal for items you do not want returned, and Amazon charges per unit to destroy or discard them.

DisposalComplete (MRP: Disposal Complete Fee): Confirms that a disposal order has been completed and the fee has been applied. The CGST and SGST variants are Indian tax components applied to this fee.

FBARemovalFee (MRP: FBA Removal Fee): Charged when Amazon ships your inventory back to you or to a designated address. You pay per unit for the return shipment regardless of the destination.

RemovalComplete (MRP: Removal Complete Fee): Confirms that a removal order has been completed and the fee has been applied. The CGST and SGST variants are Indian tax components applied to this fee.

FBACustomerReturnPerOrderFee: A fixed fee charged per return order processed through FBA customer returns handling.

FBACustomerReturnPerUnitFee (MRP: Customer Return - Per Unit Fee): A per-unit fee charged for each item returned by a customer that goes through Amazon's returns processing.

FBACustomerReturnWeightBasedFee: A return handling fee calculated based on the weight of the returned item.

FBA Prep Service Fees

Charged when Amazon prepares your products at the fulfillment center instead of you doing it before shipment.

LabelingFee (MRP: Labeling Fee): Amazon applies FNSKU labels to your products on your behalf at the fulfillment center. Charged per unit.

BubblewrapFee: Amazon wraps your product in bubble wrap for protection before shelving or shipping. Charged per unit when your product requires this prep type.

PolybaggingFee (MRP: Polybagging Fee): Amazon places your product in a transparent polybag and seals it. Required for certain product types such as clothing, shoes, or items with loose parts. Charged per unit.

WarehousePrep (MRP: Warehouse Prep Fee): A fee for preparation work carried out in the warehouse, including the Indian GST variants WarehousePrepCGST and WarehousePrepSGST.

AWD and Upstream Storage Fees

Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) is a bulk upstream storage solution where inventory is held before being distributed to FBA fulfillment centers as needed.

AmazonUpstreamProcessingFee: Charged for processing your inventory when it arrives at an AWD facility. Covers receiving, inspection, and preparation before storage. The Correction and Reversal variants apply when this fee is adjusted or reversed after the initial charge.

AmazonUpstreamStorageTransportationFee: Covers the storage of your inventory in AWD and the transportation of units from AWD to FBA fulfillment centers when replenishment is triggered. The Correction and Reversal variants adjust or reverse this fee.

AWDMcdTransportationFee: The transportation fee for moving inventory from AWD to Multi-Channel Distribution (MCD) endpoints. Applies when AWD inventory is distributed to MCF orders or other fulfillment destinations outside of Amazon. Correction and Reversal variants adjust or reverse the charge.

STARStorageFee and STARStorageBilling: Storage fees associated with Amazon's STAR (Supply Chain by Amazon) program, which provides end-to-end supply chain management. These cover the cost of holding inventory within the STAR network. Correction and Reversal variants adjust the fee when it is applied incorrectly.

Selling Fees and Subscriptions

Subscription (MRP: Amazon Subscription): The monthly Professional seller plan fee, currently $39.99 per month in the US. Required to access all selling tools, bulk listing features, and API access.

TechnologyFee: A fee charged for technology services provided by Amazon, which may include enhanced selling tools, API integrations, or specific program features depending on the seller's configuration.

PaidServicesFee (MRP: Paid Services Fee): Charges for optional paid services outside of the standard selling plan, such as Amazon selling coach features, additional reporting tools, or account management services.

HighVolumeListing (MRP: High Volume Listing Fee): A fee applied to sellers with a very large number of active listings. Amazon charges this to cover the additional infrastructure cost of maintaining a high-volume catalog.

ReCommerceGradingAndListingCharge: A fee for Amazon's Renewed program grading and listing service, where Amazon grades your refurbished or used products and creates the listings on your behalf.

Advertising, Coupons and Deals Fees

CouponParticipationFee (MRP: Coupon Participation Fee): A fixed fee charged when you create and activate a coupon on Amazon. This is separate from the discount amount itself and covers the cost of running the promotion.

CouponRedemptionFee (MRP: Coupon Redemption Fee): Charged each time a customer clips and uses your coupon. This is a per-redemption cost in addition to the discount funded by the seller.

CouponPerformanceFee (MRP: Coupon Performance Fee): A fee based on coupon performance metrics. Correction and Reversal variants adjust this fee when it is calculated incorrectly.

DealParticipationFee (MRP: Deal Participation Fee): A fixed fee for enrolling an ASIN in a Lightning Deal or Best Deal promotion. Charged when the deal is submitted and approved, regardless of whether the deal performs.

DealPerformanceFee (MRP: Deal Performance Fee): An additional fee based on the performance of your deal, applied in some deal types or promotional programs.

VineFee (MRP: Vine Enrollment Fee): The enrollment fee for Amazon Vine, a program that sends your products to trusted reviewers in exchange for honest reviews. The fee structure has three tiers: free for up to 2 units, $75 for up to 10 units, and $200 for up to 30 units per parent ASIN. You are only charged if you receive your first review within 90 days of enrolling 3 or more units.

SellerRewards: Credits or incentives issued by Amazon as part of seller reward programs, promotional rebates, or performance incentives. These appear as positive values.

MFN and Buy Shipping Fees

These fees apply when you fulfill orders yourself (FBM) and purchase shipping labels through Amazon's Buy Shipping service. PostageBilling entries are charges and PostageRefund entries are the corresponding refunds when labels are unused or adjusted.

PostageBilling_Postage (MRP: Postage Billing - Postage) and PostageRefund_Postage (MRP: Postage Refund - Postage): The base cost of the shipping label purchased through Amazon's Buy Shipping. The refund is issued if the label is voided or unused within the allowed window.

PostageBilling_FuelSurcharge (MRP: Postage Billing - Fuel Surcharge): A carrier-applied fuel surcharge added to the base postage rate. The amount fluctuates based on current fuel prices.

OrderCancellationCharge (MRP: Order Cancellation Charge): A fee charged when an order is cancelled after it has been acknowledged, in certain selling programs or configurations.

Unplanned Service Fee - Barcode cannot be scanned and Unplanned Service Fee - Barcode label missing: Amazon charges these when it must take unplanned action to fix a problem with your shipment. Barcode-related fees apply when items arrive without scannable barcodes and Amazon must apply labels.

EPR Pay on Behalf eco-contribution (all categories): The actual environmental contribution payments that Amazon pays to PROs based on your sales volume or product weight. Amazon passes these costs to you. Each product category has its own fee rate set by the relevant PRO in each country. Currently applies to sales on Amazon.fr, Amazon.es, and Amazon.co.uk.

Corrections and Reversals

Many fee types have corresponding Correction and Reversal variants. A Correction adjusts the amount charged when the original fee was wrong. A Reversal removes the fee entirely because it should not have been applied.
