What does the Sync From Date mean?

You’ll be able to choose the point in time that you wish livestock events in Trev to flow into Figured. When you first set up a farm connection, the Sync From Date will default to today’s date. You can adjust this date should you wish to.

For example, if you set the Sync From Date as 1 June 2021 then any livestock events on or after 1 June 2021 will flow into Figured (Trev will also calculate the opening livestock numbers as at this date and pass these through to Figured). Any livestock events prior to the Sync From Date will remain in Trev for you to see but won’t be transmitted to Figured.

If you change the Sync From Date to an earlier date, the Manage Data table will be updated with:

  • Any livestock events that fell between the new and the previous Sync From Date which are now available for you to synchronise with Figured.

  • New opening livestock numbers as at the new Sync From Date for you to synchronise with Figured.

If you change the Sync From Date to a later date, the Manage Data table will be updated with:

  • Any livestock events that fell between the previous and the new Sync From Date (which had previously been synchronised with Figured) for you to re-sync and remove from Figured.

  • New opening livestock numbers as at the new Sync From Date for you to synchronise with Figured.
