This release sees the Compliance & Commentary section revamped as part of the new and improved ‘Checklists’ module.
What's new?
The Checklists module sees changes to the following:
Reporting Process: while the questions presented in the reporting process will be familiar, the reporting process will look slightly different and enables the following improvements:
Checklist Groups - individual Checklist Items are organised into Checklist Groups (e.g. Health & Safety, Animal Welfare etc.) making it easier to navigate and also means you can approach this section in whichever order you wish and save as you go.
One-touch responses - you can now complete Checklist Items with a single click allowing for faster report completion; particularly helpful when completing reports on mobile phone.
New question types - Checklist items may take the form of preset responses, long text, short text, date, percentage, whole number and decimal.
Improved Analytics dashboards:
Report Snapshot, Month End - a refreshed look to accommodate customised and varying Checklists for a farm.
One Pager - the Checklist score displayed at the bottom of the One Pager report can now accommodate customised Checklists and variable weightings for a farm.
Checklist Dashboards - detailed analytics reports for both single and multi-farm to gauge traffic light performance across Checklists Groups, Checklist Items, Farms and over time [coming soon].
Improved insights:
Triggers - you can now set Triggers based on both the Score (e.g. 0-100%) and Rating (e.g. green, amber, red)
Chart Builder - in addition to the Overall Checklist Score, you’ll be able to plot scores at specific Checklist Group and Checklist Item level [coming soon]
Why has the Compliance & Commentary section been upgraded to Checklists?
The main purpose of the Checklists release is:
Future-proofing: to convert the existing set-list of Compliance & Commentary questions into a dynamic framework so that these can be evolved and adapted over time in line with customer demands and regulatory requirements.
Customisation: to allow a greater level of customisation of Checklists at an individual Company or Farm level [Pro feature]; and do so in a framework that allows qualitative data to be objectively measured over time for meaningful analysis.
Collaboration: to introduce reporting requirements, with the permission of the Trev account administrator, for other collaborating stakeholders such as milk or meat processor quality assurance programmes with the view to remove double entry pain.
What do I need to do?
Nothing! Your historic Compliance & Commentary data has been migrated into the new Checklists structure so is able to be viewed in the refreshed Analytics reports immediately.
