To learn how to set up gift vouchers, check out: How to Set Up Gift Vouchers.

Online sale

Customers can order gift vouchers on your website's Products page:

We strongly recommend registering for Online Payments and configuring Payment method for product sales = Require an online payment to order so that customers can pay online and receive gift vouchers without coming into the shop.

If they pay for it online, they will receive an email receipt and reach this page where the gift voucher can be sent to a designated email address with a personalised message:

The recipient will receive a gift voucher email with a six-letter code that can be entered during online booking, or given in-store for an admin to apply on the appointment record during payment.

Online order, pay in-store

If you have not enabled Online Payments, or you configured Payment method for product sales = Online payment is optional, the customer can place an order online and pay later in-store.

When they arrive to pay, go to Sell > Sales History > Gift Vouchers to find the order and click [View] against it:

Record the payment before clicking [Issue Voucher]:

  • Email Voucher: The recipient will receive a gift voucher email with a six-letter code that can be entered during online booking, or given in-store for an admin to apply on the appointment record during payment.

  • Offline Voucher: If you sell physical vouchers, you can enter your own voucher code that can be applied on the booking system against bookings or product sales.

    • The customer can use the code themselves when booking: Tick to make it usable for the customer during online booking. Otherwise it needs to be applied manually by an admin on the appointment record when recording payment:

In-store sale

If selling a gift voucher on its own, click [Sell a product] at the top-right of the Timetable page:

On the payment page, record the payment and optionally link the sale to a customer record on the system before clicking [Issue Voucher]:

  • Email Voucher: The recipient will receive a gift voucher email with a six-letter code that can be entered during online booking, or given in-store for an admin to apply on the appointment record during payment.

  • Offline Voucher: If you sell physical vouchers, you can enter your own voucher code that can be applied on the booking system against bookings or product sales.

    • The customer can use the code themselves when booking: Tick to make it usable for the customer during online booking. Otherwise it needs to be applied manually by an admin.

If adding a gift voucher sale to a booking, click [Add product] on the appointment record:
