How to create AI Voice Agents

This tutorial outlines the steps to personalize and create AI voice agents in your Nedzo account, ensuring a clear and efficient process for team members.

1. Log into Your Nedzo Account

  • Access your Nedzo account by logging in with your credentials.

  • Navigate to the top menu and select 'Agents'.


2. Create a New Agent

  • Click on the blue button to create a new agent.

  • Enter a name for your agent.


3. Select Agent Type

  • Choose the type of agent you want to create:

    • Appointment

    • Web and Setter

    • Live Transfer

    • General Assistant


4. Choose Phone Number Options

  • Decide whether to use:

    • Shared US phone collection (free)

    • Your own phone numbers (importing or purchasing through Nedzo)


5. Add a Description

  • Provide a brief description of the agent's purpose and functionality.


6. Customize Agent Settings

  • Open the agent settings to view:

    • Name

    • Description

    • Opening line (first thing the AI agent will say)

    • Language options (select from various languages)

    • Voice options (choose from over 50 different voices)


7. Set Up the Prompt

  • In the middle section, customize the prompt for your AI agent.

  • Remember, a better prompt leads to better results.


8. Configure Actions and Webhooks

  • Go to the actions tab to set criteria for:

    • Call transfers

    • Appointments

  • Add a URL for post-call webhook to send call report info to third-party applications.


9. Save and Publish the Agent

  • Once all settings are configured, make sure to save your changes by publishing the agent.


10. Test the Agent

  • Click 'Call Me' in the right corner of the screen.

  • Enter your name and phone number to test the AI agent's functionality.

  • Ensure that all settings are correctly configured before publishing the agent to avoid issues during operation.

  • Test the agent thoroughly to confirm it meets your expectations.
