Agents - Web Widget

How to add and install a Voice AI Web Widget to a website or landing page

Updated this week

This article explains how to enable, configure, and embed the Web Widget for any AI Agent built inside Nedzo AI.

1. Enable the Web Widget for an Agent

  1. Log in to Nedzo AI.

  2. Go to Agents.

  3. Click on the agent you want to use.

  4. Open the Advanced tab.

  5. Locate the Web Widget section.

  6. Toggle the Web Widget ON.

2. Configure Web Widget Appearance & Content

Inside the Web Widget configuration:

  1. Set Theme: choose light or dark mode.

  2. Set Position on screen (e.g. bottom/right/left/center options as available).

  3. Define the Main Call to Action Text (what appears on the widget button/bubble).

  4. Set the Title and Description shown inside the widget.

  5. If on a white-label plan, apply your Brand Name / Branding.

  6. Configure Avatar/Image for the widget (upload or select an image).

  7. Adjust any available settings such as:

    • Mic behavior (listening / push-to-talk).

    • Visual indicators (pulsing icon, countdown timer, etc.).

  8. Click Save.

3. Copy and Embed the Web Widget Snippet

  1. In the Web Widget section, click Copy to copy the script/snippet.

  2. Open your website or funnel platform.

  3. Paste the snippet into the body section of the site:

    • Use the platform’s custom code / body code / body tracking area.

  4. Save and publish your site or page so changes go live.

The key requirement: the snippet must be placed in the body of the page where you want the Web Widget to appear.

4. Verify the Widget on Your Site

  1. Open the page where you embedded the snippet.

  2. Confirm the Web Widget is visible in the configured position.

  3. Click the widget to start a conversation.

  4. Grant microphone permissions in your browser when prompted.

  5. Speak and verify that:

    • The agent responds correctly.

    • Visual behavior (pulsing, countdown, mic icon) matches your configuration.

5. Agent Capabilities via Web Widget

When accessed via the Web Widget, your agent can:

  • Use the same prompt, knowledge base, and actions as configured for that agent.

  • Book appointments on any connected calendars.

  • Use your configured actions (except phone call transfer).

  • Read and respond using your Knowledge Base.

Limitations specific to the Web Widget:

  • It cannot make phone call transfers, because it runs over a web protocol and not a phone line.

  • It does not originate or receive traditional phone calls; interaction happens entirely inside the browser.

6. Ongoing Adjustments

If any behavior, appearance, or text needs to change:

  1. Go back to Agents → [Your Agent] → Advanced → Web Widget.

  2. Update settings (theme, position, text, avatar, branding, mic/visual behavior).

  3. Click Save.

  4. Refresh your website page to see the new configuration live.
