Changes to data imports in 'Donor Management'

We have made important changes to how your team manages data imports in 'Donor Management'. Moving forward, most imports will be handled using our built-in self-service tools, giving your team greater control and efficiency.

As part of this change, the Data Services Team will no longer process imports free of charge unless specific criteria are met. To support you, we have developed a suite of helpful resources to guide you through the process.

How do I know if I qualify for free import assistance?

If your data import includes 50 or more rows and meets at least one of the following criteria, our team will assist with your import free of charge.

Free imports include:

  • updating donations already included in 'Donor Management'

  • adding donations that include soft credits or pledges

  • importing relationships between contacts

  • applying custom fields to contact records

  • overwriting current field values - (both updating them with new info, or clearing out existing data)

  • any import that the system doesn't allow you to complete on your own

For assistance, contact our Support team at success@networkforgood.com with details about your import.

Our team will review your request and, if it qualifies for our aid in importing your files, we will activate the 'Send Us Your Files' feature within Donor Management's importing tool. You will then be able to use that tool to securely upload your data for our team's review and processing.

What if my import does not meet these criteria?

No worries! Help is still available! If your import does not qualify for free support, we can connect you with an account executive to discuss purchasing our data import packages.
