So you've scanned, priced, and labeled your entire FBA shipment. Here's how to complete the shipment:
Reminder: Wait for Amazon to accept all items
It can take up to 90 minutes for Amazon to "accept" each listing. Items will remain on "pending" status until accepted.
If you want to complete a shipment and Amazon has not approved every item, you have to options:
Continue to wait.
Delete the item from the shipment and list it later.
Step one: Submit the shipment
Click "Ship FBA." Wait for the shipment feed to be sent to Amazon. It will go through a few steps and take about 30 seconds.
Then click the button to head over to Amazon and complete this shipment.
Optional: Generate box contents file (FBA only)
Once you're on the "Send to Amazon" page, you'll see our Box Contents file generator functionality at the top. This is an optional step to avoid the extra charge for not telling Amazon what items are in what box.
The steps to use are:
Choose "Upload Excel File" for each pack group.
Download the file for each pack group.
Scan all items into their respective boxes using the Neurolister Box Content feature.
Click "Packlist" and upload the file you just downloaded from Amazon.
Download the new file from NeuroLister.
Upload the new file to each pack group (in Amazon).
Not using Box Contents? Choose another option in the next step...
Submit packing information for each "Pack Group"
"Pack group" is just Amazon terminology for inventory going to a specific warehouse. Shipments can consist of many pack groups.
For any Pack Group that can fit in one box, choose "Everything will fit in one box."
For any Pack Group that will require multiple boxes, select "Multiple Boxes Will Be Needed."
Then choose from these options:
Enter through a web form. This opens a box that lets you tell Amazon which products are going into boxes together.
Upload Excel file. This is the "box contents" file, described above.
Manually Process Box Contents. This imposes a fee per item to allow you to skip providing box content info. At the time of this writing, the fee is 15 cents per item.
Use Scan & Pack. Similar to our box contents file generator, this lets you scan items into Amazon and tell them what is going into each box.
Confirm shipping
This is where you confirm the shipping charges, placement fees, etc.
Print box labels
Final step, where you print your box labels.
You're all done.
